THURSDAY'S THRIFT....good stuff!

Hi darling readers!  I am sharing with you my thrift finds from the last 2 weeks.  I am especially in love with this Converse skirt that I am sure I can wear now and in the Fall...less than $5.00 at American Thrift.

This red polka jacket for less than $5.00 from Goodwill by Notations...

I like the cut and ties on this shirt made in Los Angeles/not sure how much I paid but it could not have been more than $4.00 from American Thrift...

This feather dress reminds me of one that Target would sell but it is made by C. Luce, a company I have not heard about.  It came just in time as far as trends go.  Belted and with boots in the Fall will be how I wear it, although I may wear it sooner.

A closer look, ruffles and feathers, oh my!!

I really love this cropped, striped, J. Crew top...I was thinking about wearing it over a maxi...goodwill $3.99.

I know that this dress is not that amazing but I had to have it because of the comfort and fit.  I want to wear this now.  Goodwill/$5.99. No name as the tag has been cut off.

I am adding a new feature to my Thursday's thrift...it's called "Free to Me"!  These are the things that I either find on the ground because I always find cool little things and collect them, given to me or plucked from  the garbage pail or curbside.  The book was given to me by someone at work for free, the bracelet was found and is really cute with its woven pattern, and the bag of Spanish moss in which I plan to use for my Halloween haunted houses was plucked from the garbage pail in the office at work.  Have you acquired anything free this week or have you thrifted some good loot?  Would love to know.  Have a great day!  dawn xo

Gorgeous finds...I really enjoy the dress :)) I like finding things...my daughter and I found a chic pair of sunglasses while out walking by the esplanade, I picked them up and waited a while for anyone to return, but no one ever did, so I brought them home and gave them a new home, my daughter wears them to pretend she's a movie star. I hope you've had a great week doll, almost over!! xoxox

unfortunately I haven't had the chance to go thrifting so far this week but I do have a plan to do it today. or at least I'd like to visit my fave thrift store here in my hometown.
anyway, you've done some pretty amazing thrifting! the feather print dress is so right, especially now when that print is super popular. and I always like stripes.

I love that you see the sweet polka dots on the blazer when you roll the sleeves. And I actually got excited for you at the prospect of wearing the feather dress with boots come fall. They'll look GREAT together! Sorry to hear about the argument with your sister. I hope you work it out quickly.

You are a girl after mine own heart, brown hair & all, free stuff, found stuff, oh my the greatest. I'm never too proud to pick up something free or take something given to me. My last free stuff actually came from my sister as we were thrifting a couple weeks ago. She brought in items to the store to donate for a discount and I liked the airy pink/black check tunic, so I left the store wearing cool "new" Land's Ends crops and my "new" tunic with those little plastic colored taggers still on them. Oops sometimes I forget to cut them off. :)
