| Hello darlings, remember when my computer was out of commission? That's ok if you don't. While it was down, I went to Anthro. with my gift cards and bought this turban like headband and a pretty blouse that is dry clean only. I try not to buy things that are labeled like that because I want to wash everything myself. Anyway, this Anthro. headband was regularly $48.00 dollars which is way too expensive if I don't have a gift card. The wonderful thing that happened when I went to check out was that the sales clerk sold it to me for $28.00 after I noticed a very small pull in the material. It was the last one in stock so she wanted to move it along, I guess. My dress(Mossimo for Target) was found by my great friend and follower of this blog, Jenni (aka cupcake). I paid less than $10.00 for it when we went thrifting together. I also found a dress for her. That is the wonderful thing about going with a friend, they find things for you that you might overlook!! |

My necklace is vintage costume jewelry and weighs about 2 pounds. When not doubled, it falls below my waist. I have never worn it but thought that it was complimentary to the dress and a good contrast to the belt. I paid less than $3.00 for the necklace and .99cents for the j. Crew belt. The Coach bag that I am carrying was found at Goodwill for less than $5.00. Not sure if I like it with this ensemble but I included it anyway. Ok darlings, off to help my husband stain the deck...we are fixing up the house little by little and it is looking pretty good. Since we are doing mostly everything ourselves, we are saving lots of money to put toward our driveway resurfacing this week...yay!! Photos at some point...have a great Wednesday and be inspired! |

I love this shoot out on your deck! That headband is awesome and it looks great with your hair like that girl! Looks like you're moving into the Fall colors (SO pretty!) and after the floods and earthquakes this month, I can't wait for Fall weather. I hope you invite us over to roast some marshmellows when you get all your sprucing up done!

Great headband...it's a beauty!! You look wonderful as always!! And I love the older people too..my Nana (grandmother) is 90 years old now & I adore her,she's the best. I don't get to see her now due to living in the UK (am from America) but we have the best chats on the phone. She lives in a high rise building with other older ones & they always have the best stories and trinkets in their rooms & I love that spending even a minute talking to them gives them so much joy..such a life lesson.
