Hi and happy Christmas week...I am so excited to be feeling better and have lots of catching up to do.  God is good and let me tell ya, if you left me a message while I was down, I love ya for it and I am putting you on my Christmas list for next year.  Today I am joining http://www.twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com/, http://www.notdeadyetstyle.blogspot.com/, http://www.silverstyle50.blogspot.com/ and http://www.statementsinfashion.net/.  Yep, I am having a link fest. Why not?  I am celebrating all week that fact that I feel good. LOOKOUT!  I got my groove back sisters.  Speaking of sisters, Megan and Nora at Twobirds are hosting their Inspiration Monday with J Lo as our celebrity of the week and I am glad because she is all that in my book.  She affirmed that it is more than ok to have a some junk in the trunk...thank you JLo.  Patti is hosting Visible Monday http://www.notdeadyetstyle.blogspot.com/ and I am feeling very visible so click over, grab her button and link up.  My girl, Tammy is Trending Through The Decades with Christmas styles so stop in for a visit there and follow along.  I am also happy to tell you that I am linking up to Collette at Statements in Fashion who is hosting  Bloggers Rock The Colors of Christmas!!!   I was really excited when Collette asked me to join her along with 25 other bloggers in this link up. Red, green, white, gold, silver and blue are the trending colors so I will be linking up to her tonight.   Thank you Collette.  I think I covered most of the colors in my skirt alone.    Tonight is Bingo with the seniors and I  am looking forward to spending time with them as we play for BIG MONEY!  (not really, just coupons that they can use at the little candy store in the lobby).  Have a great day and stay inspired!!  Dawn xo

Good Morning, I am up way too early today but my husband woke me up as I was in a deep, dreamy sleep.  "Dawn, Dawn, Dawn, did you leave Blacky out in the garage last night?  Uh, I guess so.  Ooops.  Rob reminded me that it was 30 degrees.  My bad.  Poor thing...he came in ravenous and cold.  He is a big cat with a thick coat and he was in the garage not outside like my stray, Harvey.   These are the things I had to tell myself to feel better about leaving my big fat Blackers in the garage.
Anyway, yesterday revealed its first signs of Winter with the trees having lost a ton of leaves and that snap in the air which inspired me to do a post that relates to the upcoming holidays.  I thought, what woud I wear to a party if I were suddenly invited?    Do I even have holiday clothing that sparkles?  Turns out, I had more than a  few things that I have not worn that were just screaming "don't go to the thrift store until you wear me".   So I came up with a new feature for this blog through the holidays called "HOLIDAY INN MY CLOSET".   You may have something sparkly lurking in your closet too....go ahead, take a peek...I dare you.  Have a great day and thanks so much for watching my hair tutorial. I know it was way too long.  Dawn xoxo
