STACKABLES....THURSDAY'S THRIFT...

Hi darling readers, welcome to Thursday's Thrift!!  I just found these stackable mid century tables at Goodwill for $3.99.  I know, great price, had to try them out.   I really like how sleek they look but not sure if they are staying in front of my couch.  My couch isn't even staying so anything can change at any time in my home right now until I purchase a couch.  I'm  going today to a few more thrifts to see if I can find a decent, used, mid century couch that I am sure will be less than the one at Macy's.

Here they are unstacked and decorated with vintage McCall's Needlework mags from the 1960's that I also thrifted and a funky little painted bowl that seems to work with the tables.  I thrifted the mags and bowl way back.  Oh, and let me not forget my thrifted, complete, nut set that I love, I almost broke a tooth on one of those nuts last night when I cracked it and accidentally bit down on one of the shells.  not good.

Another view of the many legs....

Each magazine was .99 cents...I have more but I broke out the Christmas ones for ideas and inspiration...

Where's the dog's sweater???

My favorite...t strap shoes and a chunky knit from Ireland...

We should all add colorful sweaters to our winter wardrobes...right?  Inspired!!!

I think Megan and Nora of Two Birds should do a shoot in these sweater...although, they were not born until way after these magazines were printed.  Have a great day and thanks for dropping in.  I have been a real jerk about visiting blogs...sorry.  I will be making my way to you this weekend since I am off from work...yay!!

And thanks, by the way, for watching all of my silly tutorials about the garden stones! You rock! Oh, and I am inspired to pull out some vintage magazines. xoxo Lynn

Oh those tables are gorgeous, and such a bargain! Don't they look great all lined up with their slender little 1950s legs! It's envious. Of that tables, and the slim legs, hahaha!
Vintage magazines are brilliant, I always snap them up when I see them too. xxx
