STACKABLES....THURSDAY'S THRIFT...

Hi darling readers, welcome to Thursday's Thrift!!  I just found these stackable mid century tables at Goodwill for $3.99.  I know, great price, had to try them out.   I really like how sleek they look but not sure if they are staying in front of my couch.  My couch isn't even staying so anything can change at any time in my home right now until I purchase a couch.  I'm  going today to a few more thrifts to see if I can find a decent, used, mid century couch that I am sure will be less than the one at Macy's.

Here they are unstacked and decorated with vintage McCall's Needlework mags from the 1960's that I also thrifted and a funky little painted bowl that seems to work with the tables.  I thrifted the mags and bowl way back.  Oh, and let me not forget my thrifted, complete, nut set that I love, I almost broke a tooth on one of those nuts last night when I cracked it and accidentally bit down on one of the shells.  not good.

Another view of the many legs....

Each magazine was .99 cents...I have more but I broke out the Christmas ones for ideas and inspiration...

Where's the dog's sweater???

My favorite...t strap shoes and a chunky knit from Ireland...

We should all add colorful sweaters to our winter wardrobes...right?  Inspired!!!

I think Megan and Nora of Two Birds should do a shoot in these sweater...although, they were not born until way after these magazines were printed.  Have a great day and thanks for dropping in.  I have been a real jerk about visiting blogs...sorry.  I will be making my way to you this weekend since I am off from work...yay!!

THURSDAY'S THRIFT....McCALL'S VINTAGE INSPIRATION

Today's thrift is inspired by a bunch of McCall's Vintage{1967-68} Needlework & crafts Mags. that I found at the goodwill for .99cents each. The clip on vintage bow tie and an original lamp from that era were also found at the same thrift. Lamp $6.99, bow tie .99cents and ten or so of these magazines totalling less than $10.00.
This brightly hued, yellow knit dress was $3.oo from Goodwill. I will wear this in the Spring with my red, white and blue scarf.
I was inspired by these 2 knit dresses from one of the pages in the vintage magazine....
The rope like belt is nautical so I paired the dress with a nautical vintage scarf.....
I love the different patterns in this dress.... I found this lace, vintage beauty for $3.oo at my local Goodwill on the same day...
An original Miss theme. This dress is in perfect condition.
I love the collar and the fact that it is fully lined. The color is a subtle peach and so pretty for Spring.
I consider myself fortunate to have access to a multitude of fabulous thrift stores in the South Jersey area.
Thanks as always for dropping in to check out Thursday's thrift. Don't forget to enter my giveway...I will be announcing the winner on Saturday. GOODLUCK!!! LOTS OF LOVE, DAWNXO
