INSIDE VOICE PLEASE...

Hi darling readers, I just wanted to say a quick hello and give you permission to have a great weekend without me because I have to work...booo hisss.  Anyway, the upside is that I have off next weekend and can play then.  Don't ask me why I took these photos in the midst of this complete mess of a back yard, we had trees taken down and the stumps ground down recently.  I wore this house dress on date night with Rob for a quick, early dinner at our local Sushi joint.   It's a byob and welcomes relaxed attire and atmosphere although the couple 2 tables down were not using their inside voices(tsk, tsk) so I tuned in to hear  them out as best I could.   Does that ever happen to anyone?  Why can't people hear themselves? Geez, there were only 3 couples in the place including us.  So annoying.  I remember telling a lady one time who was talking VERY loudly in an eatery, about surgical stuff, that she was grossing me out.  She was shocked that I said something to her but too bad, why should I lose my appetite over your disgusting convo?
These are my new "darn you Target" bling mocs that I purchased while shopping for a red pepper for dinner.  I should have known better, why walk through the shoe section to get to the food section when they are not near one another?  These mocs are from the kid's shoe section,  you know, Circo.  Yep, size four and they are a little big which means kids have bigger feet these day or something.  I will also mention that they turn your feet pink but I am keeping them anyway.  This was supposed to be quick so I better stop now!   I am linking this post to The Tiny Heart for What to Wear Date Night.  Stop by and check out Sharon's adorable blog and style.  Don't forget to follow along on Instagram @ Suitcase Vignettes

I love that dress on you, Dawn. And I love your dogs; so cute.

Also, I totally say "boo. hiss" all the time. You're so my NJ twin! But, with smaller feet. Obviously. ;-)

That dress is such a beautiful colour, and I love the rose print.
I am laughing at your "inside voice" phrase, and thinking that you would probably tell me off for being too loud too... And I am thinking of that little clip you posted when your dog ran off in the woods, and your outside voice, hehe!
I am glad I make you laugh, Dawn, I think you're funny too! xxx

Super cute dress Dawn. You way outshine the backyard mess. And what cute pups too.

I often have to endure loud yackers on the commuter bus. It's so rude in my opinion. I'd love to turn and give them a dirty look but here in Seattle anyone could be carrying a gun. ;O

The "inside voice" story makes me laugh and cringe! This happens to us too and I always *want* to say something but never do. My husband says we should start talking loudly about our (fictional) son who's just home from prison but acting strangely.

Love that colorful dress and hot pink shoes. I do that in Target too - just did it yesterday!

I cannot go to Target without going to the jewelry and to the shoes!
You looked fab for your date night. The shoes added just the right touch.

Love the floral print and you dogs are SO cute! I can't set foot in Target without automatically dropping $50. The clothes/shoes get me every time. I'll have to check out those shoes since I always shop the kids shoes :) Thanks so much for linking up, Dawn!
