THURSDAY'S THRIFT...free stuff too

I know it may be tough for some of you to look at this thrifted cowl neck sweater in late August but reality is such that Fall is on its way and all of you summer loving crazy people will just have to face it, sorry but it is my turn to enjoy the weather for a bit.  Goodwill $1.99.

This vintage, chocolate brown, JC Penney skirt is wash and wear poly.  It has an A-line cut and will look great with boots and a chunky cropped sweater.  Goodwill $3.99

This Bandolino skirt was a must have maxi.  It may not look like much on the hanger but it will be a Fall/Winter staple...no more shaving my legs, applying tanner and then a moisturizer just to get them to look half decent. It's almost time to cover that mess up.....ha! Goodwill $3.99

Ok don't laugh, you know you want this cardi by Rafaella with its gold stitched fluer de lis appliques.  Made in Hong Kong it may be from the 90's not sure.  Does anybody know what decade this is from?  Goodwill $3.99

I must admit, I got a little excited when I found this bold animal print skirt for $3.99 from Goodwill.  It is mostly linen and lined.  I can wear this now and in the Fall.

I have a thing for jugs, no not those (.)(.).  I mean little jugs.  Ok, I do have a thing for both types of jugs.  I like mine small. Village thrift/less than $1.  If you wanna know or care to know about my breast reduction surgery back in March,  just click here and here or here The last one is Megan and Nora of Two Birds, they did a funny and creative guest post for me while I was away.

FREE STUFF
curbside (trash) handmade shelf.
handmade stained glass that my friend Beverly gifted me...thank you, I love it.
Sun Glasses found in woods...need to clean

Love all the skirts, Dawn, especially the animal print. I look forward to covering my legs up again too!
Big jugs, little jugs, all jugs are good!
I am SO envious of your free shelves, they look amazing! I adore stained glass too, your friend's gift is really beautiful. xxxx

nice finds, Dawn! I especially like the sweater because of the cool print and the animal print skirt is lovely too. btw, reading about your maxi skirts reminded me I was just watching a couple of maxis yesterday but I didn't buy those since I feel a bit odd in maxi. don't know why but I just do. though I have the most beautiful maxi dress which I haven't worn yet.

You are such a talented thrifter. As to the sweater, you gotta grab 'em while they are there no matter how hot or cold it is outside.
