SIMPLE DIY....

Go to Anthropologie or your favorite store that sells cute knobs.  I got these on sale for $2 and $3 bucks each in the clearance section.  I bought 4 and spent $12.

Get your man's tools from garage or your own tools if you are cool like that....I'm not.

Found this piece of wood on the road that leads to the woods behind my house with screws stuck in it.  People unfortunately dump back there because they are rude but I decided that this was a great color and picked it up.  I immediately had a vision.

So, your job is to find a piece of wood, maybe curbside or at a salvage yard. Get it for free if you can.
Screw knobs into wood,  make sure they come with washers.

End result....
Hang it vertically or horizontally...

Add hooks on the back and  hang.  Display your favorite jewelry or what have you....

Thanks for dropping in....I did sweat a little screwing those knobs in by hand.  Dawn xo

That's awesome, love the knobs, they are sweet!! Haha..I am laughing now because here in the UK knobs is a slang word for a man's privates, hahaha! So, I kind of feel a little funny now, haha!! Something for you to laugh at ;D xx

I stumbled across your blog when I googled "thrift blogs" and I'm so glad I did! I love following other thrift bloggers :) This idea is so cute! Now I just need to find where all the rude people dump their trash around here...
