| Hello darling readers, I have been absent but very busy with house things. This weekend, although I have to work the entire time, my friend Bill is installing our hand scraped, wide plank, coventry oak hardwood floors. Very exciting because we have had carpet for 7 years and it was there when we moved in. Anyway, I love the neutral color of what we chose and the wider plank has always been a dream of mine to have. This is a photo of my husband's hand with his new handy dandy, rustic, church thrift store beer cozy that I splurged for (.25cents) yesterday. I got some great stuff and will post it next week along with the floors. JUST A SIDE NOTE: his nails are usually immaculate...this is after he pulled up the carpet. just sayin. |

| Rob and his three best friends: Miller beer, Caroline and Georgia. He is rewarding himself with a cold beer after he finished pulling up all of the carpet, padding, and staples from the entire upstairs of our house with the exception of the bedrooms/bathrooms. What a hard working man, my Rob. |

| This is after he pulled up the carpet in the dining room...my entire house is packed up in the garage. I can't wait to re-decorate when the floors are finished. |

| I still have to pack that one last cabinet full of pottery tonight but everything has been put away since March when the new kitchen was installed. I need everything to come together so I can start with a clean palette. yay! So have a great weekend! I am so grateful and happy!! What is making you grateful or happy? dawn xo |

woah, i lovee wooden floor. there's something rustic but homey about it. is that really a beer holder? i wouldn't know if i see it, i thought it will be like pens holder, new things to learn everyday lol!
on a side note, leaving in city where it's often raining and gloomy, sunshine in winter makes me grateful and all smiles!
That beer cozy got me! LOL It even has antlers that stick out! He deserved a cold one, after doing that work. Good for him!
