| GOOD MORNING!!! It's Sunday and I am tinkering around the house drinking a mini can of Coca Cola instead of a second cup of tea. I spent the day yesterday wandering around Marshall's Tj Maxx and a newer store called Tuesday Morning. All three stores are next to each other which meant I had to visit all three. I'm in decorating mode. I decided to begin with the kitchen since it is the only room ready for a few accent pieces to punch it up and get it as close to reminding me of bits of Anthropologie as possible. I love cottage style too so I will be mixing in some pieces that will make it cozy as well. My decorating style is similar to the way I dress, eclectically. I can't decide on one specific style so I go with my mood and mix it all up. Variety really is the spice of life for me. I found some beautiful botanical prints to hang in the kitchen from Tuesday Morning and a funky teal rug to play on the mint green accents from TJ Maxx. I don't have a lot of wall space in my kitchen so I am going utilize what I have with pieces I love. |

| I realize that not too many people post on Sunday but I thought it would be good to have something up for the weekend instead of cramming my weekend into a monday post. Truthfully, I just wanted to showcase my HawkEye camera from the 60's. Have a great day, going to HomeGoods to check out their area rugs...wish me luck. Oh yeah, I took the belt off in the middle of the shoot, not sure if I like it with these shorts...what do ya think? dawn xo |

That's a cute vintage camera Dawn! We have a shopping village that has all 3 too! I didn't even think about it, until you mentioned it. I hardly get out there, because it's wayyyy out and not near my house. Super cute outfit. You look like a school girl. :D

i like the belt! i am so jealous that you have a blank slate to decorate with! i have been itching to do something different in my house...it might be my bedroom soon!!
I love stripe tops and I think the belt adds a nice pop of colour to the outfit:)

I actually liked the belt! It added to that preppy schoolgirl cuteness :D
I really like the belt because it gives your outfit a preppy vibe, particularly with the little Lacoste alligator.
