Hi darling readers and newer readers. I just wanted to take a minute and wish you all a safe and happy holiday weekend if you are celebrating Independence Day. I am working but the parade is not until Wednesday of next week at work so I won't have to push wheel chairs to the parade until then. It is brutally hot and humid here in New Jersey. So hot that I saw an Amish guy buying an air conditioner at Walmart. Just kidding. As a matter of fact it is so hot that I have learned to drive with 2 fingers because my steering wheel is scorching. I love how hot is it, quotes. I think they are hysterical. I even googled how hot is it to see what else was funny. It is so hot that I am going to hell to cool off for a bit. ok, ok, I'll stop but right after I tell you that it was 98 degrees with uh, a heat index of THE SUN. So hot, that I decided to do my shoot inside. |

Haha! You are funny with those heat jokes. I definitely agree with the indoor photo shoot. Makes for much better hair and non-shiny skin. Your eyes are really popping in these photos, it's beautiful. And I love the surprise bold shoes, what a great outfit!
i love how you match the dress with the white black stripe shoes! they look so striking! contrary to your hot hot, we're having cold thunderstorm winter here whichi dislike...
btw dawn, have you considered getting a remote that can set the timing? nothing wrong with the current pose of course! but i was in same situation and then my husband got this timer remote thing lol and it gives more rooms for posing.
dawn, you look like you're barely breaking a sweat, with your divine hair, & pretty summer dress. there is no way i'd want to march in a parade in this heat. i doubt jersey is in the triple digits, hot as all get out, with a humidity factor of sweltering, i think i'm gonna die, if i go outside, texas. the other night a gecko/lizard was crawling on my kitchen counter. good thing about those is they eat the nasty texas bugs. there was also one in my art/music room that my guy caught & tossed outside. i bet you're glad you live in jersey now, aren't ya? ;)
Well, certainly not hotter than you!! That is a beautiful dress too, by the way. (We have 98 degree heat here too -- all year round).
You look fab. My hair would be a pile of mess if it was so hot. It's cool and calm here. I could do with a little bit of heat from the sun though. Your cat is hysterical..least he's enjoying. I hope you have a wonderful weekend doll!! xx
Cute dress and a great color
It got to 105 here in Charlotte today!
Have a great weekend

Wow, just found your blog and have to follow since we have some things in common just in this post. I bought that dress too, love the color, and our cats are long lost cousins. Though mine is not well behaved. Love that flower display!

Really like the rusty orange shift against the blue background. It may be scorching but you look cool. Also like the ice cream maker as a flower pot. Neat!
