GOOD VIBRATIONS....

Hello darlings, today was a lazy day.  Kinda cloudy but 66 degrees which was perfect for me to throw on a dress, sneakers, hop on my bike, and ride up the dirt road that leads to the woods.  My husband, Rob, was out with the dogs running errands and called to say he was just pulling up to the woods with them.  Perfect opportunity to take some pics right?  I rode my 1950's Good Vibrations, beach bike right into the woods to meet up with them.  Of course, the girls were having a swim with all the creeks being filled from the rain.  Rob was observing from the side with his Bounce dryer sheet tucked into his belt loop.  Yep, supposedly, Bounce dryer sheets ward off mosquitoes beautifully.  Neither one of us got a bite the entire time we were there.  I rubbed the sheet on my skin since I didn't have a belt loop.

I have to work tonight but that's ok because it's ice cream social.  The last Wednesday of every month, I get to serve extra large scoops of delish flavors with topping to over 60 people.  I love it!  Last night during bingo, I reminded the seniors that I would be around to serve them tonight.  I am very heavy handed when serving, alot of them now take the time  to tell me how much they want because of this issue.  I try to lighten up on the scoop amount but I get excited to make them happy.  I also get to work with my favorite nurse at work....hey, Bev.  The staff usually pitches in and helps me serve if I don't have volunteers.  I very much appreciate their help and encourage them to dig in and help themselves to however much ice cream they can eat.  Have a great night! Thanks for dropping in.  dawn xo

I did not know Bounce warded off mosquitoes!!! That is awesome! I'm going to try that, even though I'm not outside a lot. Love your floral dress and the Ice Cream Social sounds fab. It really touched my heart when you mentioned that you want to make them happy. I like that.
