CAT FIGHT...

Hi darlings, I wore this to Sunday Service at work. This outfit is 100% thrifted with the exception of my shoes and bracelet.   My husband and I went to breakfast afterwards and shared our dishes consisting of  sour dough french toast with toasted almonds and strawberries along with a  roadside omelet.  We have since tried to duplicate the french toast at home but it just wasn't the same.  It's all in the bread

I had my stylist blow my hair out straight which I am not sure I love but it felt healthier and lighter for a few days.

I may have to retire these thrifted black dress pants as they require me to put my belt on the last notch which hikes them up to my waist.  Not sure about this look but it is hard to find a pair of good black dress pants that are not 100% polyester or wool.

Anyway, I am nursing my cat Redzo who wondered out of my yard and fought some other animal.  He had a minor surgery yesterday afternoon.  I had to work last night so my husband picked him up at 8pm.  I won't tell you how much it cost but I can guarantee he won't be going out without supervision.  At 3:30am he took off his bandage exposing his quarter size wound on his leg in which the doctor had to wash out.  I just happen to wake up to this so I whisked him off to the same vet at 4:30 this morning to get him re- wrapped but this time they put the bandage on him like a harness so he can't chew it off.  He is more than mad, believe me.  I have to supervise him and give him pain meds around the clock by mouth.  I may have to take him to work tonight in his cat carrier since I am not sure what time Rob will be home.  I have had a lot going on lately, more than I am sharing with you but just know that God is equipping me to handle ALL of it.  Enjoy your week!   Lots of love....dawn xo

Poor kitty. Luckily both of our porch cats are wimps so I don't think we'll have any angry, injured animals to care for (fingers crossed).

O poor Redzo! I trust he is healing well -- perhaps he needs a giant cow bell on him so you'll always know where he is -- the same kind I'll be putting on Ming!!

Hi Dawn,
It feels like a long time since I've come round. This outfit is a bit of a departure from your usual style but I really like it. I don't think you should get rid of the pants; I like exactly where they sit. I would totally wear this to work!! Soooo cute! AND I like your hair straight OR curly!
