DKNY sunglasses/church thriftstore less than $5.00
Preswick Moore sweater $3.99/ Goodwill
Ann Taylor button down $3.99 /Goodwill
Striped skirt $3.99 Goodwill
No name leather purse $4.99 Goodwill
Target tights/.99cents new at Goodwill
Frye boots/Goodwill $4.99 found in kid's section size 2 1/2 and comfy.

Hi darlings,  just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful weekend.  The sun is so warm today and the air is a still a little nippy but it feels good.  I wore this 1000% thrifted outfit to go thrifting on Wednesday. I don't always dress up a litte to thrift and  I am not totally in love with the look but is was comfy and I was excited that the buttons on this shirt were not popping off or playing peekaboob.  It felt good to just have it fit right in that area.  I have worn this outfit before here, I just switched out the accessories and wore the sweater around my neck like a preppy gal.  Also, I'm in love with this new Chanelesque, leather purse that I found for $4.99 at Goodwill.  It will be on my shoulder throughout spring and maybe into the summer. What's new with you lately that you are loving?  dawn xo

Have a wonderful weekend, Dawn!

You look fabulous in this outfit. And I totally want that skirt!

For thrifting, I usually wear leggings, a tunic and flat boots so I can stand to be one my feet but also try on skirts if the dressing rooms are packed.

dawn, i think you look sophisticated & chic! i have a thing for that shade of blue. the thrift store i shop at most does NOT have a dressing room. they just have 1 full length mirror. so, i usually wear a skirt that can be easily pulled off & on, a pair of tights or leggings(so my legs are covered), a long blouse, a tank top, easy shoes to pull off & on.

Boots size 2 1/2?? That's munchkin size. lol
Love the outfit.
When thrifting I try to wear the easiest thing possible to get on and off for trying on my sometimes cartfull of clothes. I've been more reserved lately though and am not piling it quite so high. I also wear a thin-ish shirt to slip on blazers in aisle. Oh...and shoes that slip off easily. And I shop alone because I'm focused and on a mission. Hubby has tagged along if we're out and about doing other stuff, but I enjoy going solo so I can take my time.

You look gorgeous. A shirt with buttons that don't gape? The op's working out for you then! (I have that problem with buttons...)
Cute skirt, and very cute legs!
I don't have a thrifting outfit - just whatever I have on that day (though if I know I'll be doing lots of walking, I might wear flats.) I've stopped trying things on really (apart from coats or jackets or shoes), I can usually judge if something will fit, and if it doesn't or I don't like how it looks, I sell it on Ebay or pass it on to a friend. I like to share the vintage/thrifted love!
PS. How are you feeling? xxx

Luv that skirt. Most of my skirts are straight. They should be glad that you are advertising for them
