BOLD BUT SIMPLE...

I wore this outfit to my doctor's office 2 weeks ago but never got around to posting it with me actually wearing it.  This Talbot's thrifted skirt was a steal at $3.99 from Goodwill.

I may look somber but truthfully, I was delighted inside as this was 2 weeks post op.  I was still wearing a Velcro, front closure,  surgical training bra in which the doctor told me to stop wearing that day.  I just stopped wearing it the other day.  He didn't have his things that hang, all sliced, diced and stitched now did he?  I sound angry...I'm not.   That bra was the only thing that gave me comfort...I framed it.  Not, but I should.

I slept on this hair for maybe a week....combed it that morning for the first time in a week...gross, don't judge I could not lift my arms that high...my husband does not do hair.

Do me a favor, click on over to www.twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com right now and read their post today.  I was hysterical laughing, when I read it.  The conversation via text between sisters Megan and Nora is worth the time plus their outfit remix is too cute to miss.  lots of love, Dawn xo

Your blue skirt is beautiful! I love how you've styled it! And I can't believe how nice your hair looks with no effort! My husband doesn't do hair, either. He looks at me like I'm sort of wizard when I braid it (which is rarely!)

I love this outfit, you look smashing!! Gorgeous skirt :)) I shall read the other post you mentioned, a laugh is always good :)) Thank you for your kind comments and care...I miss my grandmother a lot just now & I know I always will, she was marvelous...taught me all my thrifting ways, there wasn't a garage sale or a bargain she couldn't find ;) But, I know I'll see her again one day, that makes me happy! I hope you keep healing and getting better and better, am really pleased for you!! Hugs xoxo

You look great. And I never brush my hair (no really, if I don't wear it up, it doesn't get brushed) so I'd never judge. Well, I'd never judge anyway because I think you're fabulous!!!

WOW!! When I saw the first headless picture I thought it was an inspiration photo. The operation really slimmed your silhouette. Beautiful skirt...you have such a nice collection of long skirts....sigh.
