70's WING COLLARED SHIRT...original

Good Morning, yesterday was absolutely beautiful outside, the sun was so warm and felt really good on my face. This morning was cloudy and raining so I am relaxing and sipping my coffee while watching World's Messiest Houses in the Country on the Style channel in bed..  I can't peel my eyes from the TV as this particular house they are featuring is awful and sad for the homeowners.  They discovered black mold in their basement but they also discovered $5,000 dollars in cash and coins just lying around their house.  WHAT?  I WOULD KNOW IF I HAD AN EXTRA 5,000 BUCKS IN LOOSE CHANGE AND SOME BILLS LYING AROUND MY HOUSE.   They put it toward their daughter's college tuition.  Their yard sale was the biggest in the history of the show.

I wore this outfit to the dog park yesterday so that I could snap photos and then to work for card night with the seniors.  I switched out my shoes for work but I could have worn these new boots that I featured yesterday as part of  my thrift excursion.  Thank you for all of the lovely comments about my haul.  I am excited to style my finds too.

I found this original 70's wing collared button down and 2 others like it at Goodwill a while back.  This one has a flower pattern which seems to be the repeating  theme in my wardrobe lately.

I love how Caroline's face looks as she leans in for a photo.  My dress is by Marc Jacobs which is as rare to find as Chanel in the thrift stores I frequent locally in Southern New Jersey.  I have only found 2 or 3 Marc Jacobs pieces in all of my years of thrifting.

I have been living in this cashmere, vintage cardigan lately...the neutral color goes with most things I wear to work or just out and about town.  Have a great day darlings, welcome new followers, I am looking forward to reading your blogs and getting to know you.  Stay inspired!  Dawn xo

Dawn, I know I have said it already but I just love your hair! So beautiful.
Also love the dress over a collared shirt! Wouldn't have thought of that! The cardi pulls it all together!

Wow that bright floral blouse and the funky hat are such great pieces! I have a pretty messy house but I also think (or would hope) that I'd notice $5000 hanging around!
