THE HAND AND THE SEVERED FINGER...

We all know that Martha Stewart along with her staff, come up with the most creative ideas every Halloween  making her the queen of Halloween in my book.   My husband and I have echoed her creepy ideas resulting in these 2 appendages, the sculptured hand and the severed bloody finger with a black bow tied around it to indicated "don't forget" our halloween party.  We used it as an invitation one year and sent a finger in a box to all of our guests.

Add some moss, orange bulbs, battery operated tea lights and candles for a spooky effect.

Don't mind the dust on the spooky, it adds to the charm...

Thrifted these 2 electric, vintage candles at Goodwill for $5.99 each.  I added orange bulbs which I also thrifted for .99cents/ pack of 5.

Lights off and instant creepsville....

BOOOOOOO!  I am linking up to ModVintageLife today.  Nita, who has a great following, fantastic ideas, and talent for decorating that is unbelievable, hosts a linky party for mixing old and new.  Check her out here and follow along  Grab her button too.  xo

Love your spooky tablescape. I have yet to drag out all my Halloween. It seems like such a chore right now. I normally love Halloween. I'm hoping seeing things like yours will get me in the mood. Way to go on those thrifted lamps!

Dawn,
No, No please don't inspire me to decorate for Halloween! I used to be a nut about it when the boy's were young........thinking about doing a trending post on that and other upcoming holidays.
What do you think?
Stop by and grrrr your animal prints.

this is a super spooky post....hooo...I'm scared. I'm also scared of the finger..ha..you really have a sense of humor! Halloween is not a family favorite here. Recently a halloween party at the zoo was scraped because of some complaints. Have fun, I'm sure your party would be a blast!
