REMIX 17...peace, love and fashion....

Everything thrifted except for my boots{TJ Maxx} and Tights{Target}...
This post looks like it should be in "My Mom the Style Icon" in the back of Lucky Mag....
I hopped in and took that baby for a spin....I can pretend.

Hello Darlings, it's Sunday night and I am just winding down after a great weekend. Saturday I got a chance to see my sweet niece Emma Jane, my sister Jill and my mom Jane. It was a great visit!! I wandered home and got ready to go to Lisa and Jeff's house for some grub and bowling night....yes, I said bowling. Lisa from Rants on the Run blog is very funny ...you should give her some blogger love and check out our bowling night photos here. Leave her a comment...she will comment back I promise. We had a blast having played 3 games while the beers flowed very nicely. I love to dance up the lane and strike a pose and then get a strike....it was so much fun!!
Then on Sunday I took my husband for a surprise ride to Philadelphia. He didn't know where we were going but as we drove over the Walt Whitman Bridge, he guessed where we were going and finally got it right. I took him to the lot where I feed the stray cats and we fed them together. You see, they don't eat much on the weekends because the gated parking lot is closed until Monday at 9am. I have to be in work by 7am so that means that they don't eat from Saturday morning until Monday evening when I get there. We pulled up to the gate and I showed my husband the secret entrance and we slipped in with cat food, water, and towel for warmth. I began calling mama cat {timothy's mom} and one by one the 3 regulars showed up to eat and drink. I can't tell you the joy and fulfillment that comes from sustaining these little homeless kitty cats. Rob thought that they looked pretty good considering their circumstances and I felt a sense of humble pride knowing that I contribute to their well being. We stopped and had lunch in Philadelphia and then headed back over the bridge toward home. Thanks for reading this unusually long post....it means a lot to me...have a great week. Lots of Love, Darlings xo.

You look fantastic!!! The Brit would go crazy if he saw that old Westfalia. Is it just abandoned and rotting away. I bet he would feed and help stray Westfalias to survive if he could. Ha! Those kities are lucky to have you. x
