| I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to meet NYC blogger Angela from Bohemian Flavored. She is not only gorgeous in person but totally sweet, tall, and her hair is to die for. (notice my posture is nearly perfect as I tried to appear tall). We met at Fred's on the upper west side which has become a family tradition that my Aunt Eileen of, http://www.thefoxisdead.blogspot.com/ started years ago. I love looking forward to making the trip every year the week before Christmas. It is less than 2 hours from where I live in southern NJ. The city was bustling as the lights added to the excitement and beauty. When Angie arrived at Fred's, I was at the bar buying her a mimosa to greet her with. I heard someone say "Dawn" and as I looked up, there she was with a friendly, huge smile and we hugged like ole time buddies. I proudly introduced her to my Aunt and Uncle along with the rest of the friends that joined us. We sat for a bit and chatted about blogging among other things as we quickly tried to get to know one another in the short amount of time we had. After a bit, we all piled in to my aunt's mini van and headed over to the east side to drop Angie off at home. It was a short, sweet visit but all worth having a plan to meet up with another blogger come to fruition. |
