SELF CONSCIOUS...

Hello darling followers, hope all is well with you.  I wore this outfit on Sunday.  I felt like getting dressed up a little and I wanted to wear this vintage fur hat that Shayla gifted me back in May for my birthday.  I changed into jeans instead of the skirt and went out for the day.  I stopped at the thrift and found an adorable museum cat print for a buck that satisfied my thrift soul, if you know what I mean.    It's that one item that thrills you so much that you can actually leave the store at that point without feeling like you've missed something.  It's a great feeling.  The point of this post was to tell you about the dermatologist that I went to that was really good lookingRemember?  Just in case you don't remember, you can read about it hereSo yesterday, Monday morning, I went to have a mole removed on my face.  You can see it more clearly in the photo above.  It's on the apple of my left cheek and it's flesh colored, also called a clear mole.  I had it removed and biopsied, so no face photos for a bit until it heals.  Sorry if this grosses you out but it was something that made me very self conscious especially when someone asked me about "that thing" on my face.  How rude....you know who you are, jerko.  So we'll see how well it heals and I will live with it because nothing more can be done.

I am slowly making my way to blogs, I got really lazy around the holidays and it has continued to be a battle to post even the most simple things.  To my credit, I am trying to get my house in order on a thrift budget and that can take a long time.  I am getting there thanks to a lot of help from Kathy and her cousin Diane, my go to decor girls.    I am going to post my dining room, soon.  They came in here like a hurricane and whipped it into shape.  Thank you, girls.  By the way, my outfit except for the shoes, is totally 2nd hand. My sweater is by Moth (sold at Anthro.) and has hung in my closet for 2 years.  Finally deciding to wear things that I have had feels good.  Two more bags of clothing went to the drop on Sunday.  Have a great day...dawn

Dawn, you are completely gorgeous, I hope the jerk who mentioned your mole didn't make you feel any less beautiful than you truly are. You always look great, it is such a shame to feel self-conscious.
TWO YEARS? Sorry for shouting, but you had that cute little jumper for two whole years and didn't wear it? You are so naughty! Love the warm cosy outfit.
And looking forward to seeing your dining room makeover soon. xxxxxx

I thought your mole always looked gorgeous in photos...I like different things about people that make them stand out...but if you feel better about it, then that's what matters most. I know how people can be asses sometimes & state the bleeding obvious about things with people, like they never knew it before, ha. I always get real sarcastic & say what my mom always said to people 'Oh, really, well no shit sherlock' hahaha!! Makes me laugh anyways, especially at their faces after ;) You look darling, really love the top on you..gorgeous colours!! I hope you are having a great week so far doll...I need your email sometime as I wanted to email about something. Have a lovely day darling xox

This sweater looks so cute on you. AND SERIOUSLY! what an ass... I hate people. I have a birthmark on my face right next to my eye. Someone once asked "Whats that on your face". I hadn't thought about my birthmark in YEARS either.... I don't like to use the word that rhymes with witch to actually describe people... but people who say those things are really just insecure witches/jerks who look for things wrong to make themselves feel better. So don't let it get to you, you are beautiful! :)

I love this outfit on you. It's like perfect classic vintage, almost Jackie-O like. I totally know what you mean about falling behind on the blogging scene over the holidays, I'm slowly getting back into it! I always thought your mole was cute but I'm glad you feel better about it now!

Hope you are healing well. Some people should really learn to keep their mouths shut if they have nothing nice to say ...
I really like how you paired that beautiful sweater with orange and green. :)

You look fabulous Dawn, the sweater is adorable and I LOVE vintage hats. I had a collection of over 50 vintage hats before we had a fire a few years ago; I'm sloooowly rebuilding my collection.

You are beautiful Dawn, let no one shake your knowledge of your beauty. My Granny, bless her heart, used to call those wee moles 'fairy kisses', but what really matters is how YOU feel. I've had funny looks and rude comments over the years because of my movements and finally came up with a comeback for the rudest: "What, this? I'm dancing for joying because I finally met someone with half a wit!" Hehe.

Your outfit is really cute Dawn. I have a beige skirt just like that. Some people don't have any tact! Disregard them. You'll heal and be fine in no time. I've been lazy with my blog too. LOL Posting, but it's been a struggle. HaHaHa A lot of bloggers are experiencing the blogger blues at the moment. Something must be in the water. LOL I need a KICK of inspiration! As always thanks for your kind comments.

Jerks are all around us! Hope everything goes well with the surgery!
That sweater is really cute. My niece works at Anthro and I can't even afford their retail prices on clearance!
Thanks for the comment earlier.

What a rude person. I have little things like that all over my face. I have sebaceaous hyperplasia that causes the oil glands to go nuts and create all these little growths. Some of them look like little donuts. Real attractive, but screw folks who don't like them.
You look beautiful, mole or no mole.
