VINTAGE LIMITED....

I bought this vintage jacket at Goodwill about 3 weeks ago during my shopping ban.  I purchased it because it is vintage and one of a kind.  I nearly gasped when I saw it, as I quickly stashed it in my cart.  NOBODY WAS SHOPPING MY CART THINKING THAT IS WAS NEWER MERCHANDISE COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE THRIFT.  You get my drift.  I can't tell you how many times people try to scan my cart thinking they just hit the jackpot.  Sorry, but I saw it first...not to be mean but too bad sucka!!!  Hahaha. In all seriousness, I have given people items from my cart and happily but not this jacket, not today.

I wanted to wear it casually and comfortably so I paired it with gray thrifted trousers from H&M, and my old faithful, leopard, platform boots that I could run at high speed in, if I had to. You never know when you might have to get away quickly.  They are that comfy. TJ Maxx $7.99 many years ago.

I am signing off for a bit.  I have some things to do in the next several days which includes a short trip and I'm not sure if I will have access to a computer for blogging.  I will keep up with y'all on instagram and you can follow along with me too.  I'm at Suitcase Vignettes.  Have a great weekend and take it easy, the Christmas holiday is not about hustle, bustle and pressure.  It's a gift meant to be enjoyed by all!!! dawn xo

Your jacket is a beautiful find Dawn. I like the southwestern vibe of it, yet the shape is so modern.

I would never dream of stealing from another person's cart but unfortunately it's happened to me. Now I keep one really ugly item on top to conceal any treasures underneath! Sneaky, I know.

Love it! I have similar moments, when I put my stuff down to try on more and someone comes by looking through it... um, nope. I just tell them politely, "that's mine" and give them the "back the eff off, don't even look" look.
