FRIDAY'S LETTER'S and an outfit

Dear little, vintage, thrifted, smock.  I love you!!  You are a favorite.  This is the second time I have worn you since I purchased you 2 years ago.  The last time I wore you was like this.  I was chubbier then and filled you out much more in the top area.  You've come at a good time when Navajo, Southwestern, and Tribal patterns are trending.   Thank you for finding me.  When I went to Macy's today, I wasn't really that tempted to buy anything because I was happy with you and nothing in the clothing section was nearly as cute or as inexpensive.  I was supposed to be in the furniture section anyway.  xo

dear Caroline, you are 2 years old now, Happy Birthday to you and your sister Georgia.  You do the cutest little things and pop loves you to pieces.    I love you too although I am a total cat person.  May you continue to flourish and become more secure because you were so frightened when we first adopted you and Georgia.  You wouldn't go thru a doorway or jump up into the car.  You hated your crate and drooled a lot when you were anxious.  You are so much better now thanks to pop working with you, I was so proud when he taught you high five.  You are so smart and lovable.  I guess you like our newly thrifted tree...please don't eat it.  Thank you, xoxo
dear work, I dare not complain about coming to you all weekend because I am fortunate to have you and like you.  You provide me with a good amount of job security, money, fun, great people, free turkey on thanksgiving, free Christmas party for myself and a guest, and lots of laughs.  I will see you soon so try not to drag out, ok?  thank you xo.

dear Rob, (sweet husband)  THANK YOU for the new windshield wipers on my car without me knowing until I used the wiper fluid and noticed that my wipers were smoother going across the widow and my windows cleaner.  You are a great husband and I appreciate the little surprise this week...I love you!!  xoxo

Have a great weekend, dear readers.  dawn xo  Linking this to Adventure's of Newly Weds here

If you ever get tired of that smock, you know who it should go to right? Yes, me. Also, those letters are so sweet. And I love that your puppy has a natural handkerchief around her neck; so cute.

Have a wonderful weekend, Dawn!

That is so sweet about the windshield wipers. Men can do some of the sweetest secretive things sometimes and then just sit and wait for a response. But at the same time they never even needed a response to feel good about what they did. That is true generosity. I could learn more from that.

I chuckled at the part about how you were supposed to be in the furniture section. You have a great sense of humour.

In which section did you find your smock? I've never seen one in my expeditions but then again I wouldn't put thrift stores to put it with the tablecloths, or something!
