INSPIRATION MONDAY...Rachel Bilson

Hello darling readers and newer darling readers...welcome to Inspiration Monday.  I am linking this post to Twobirds blog.  This week our inspiration in Rachel Bilson shown at the bottom of my page because I forgot to put it first.

My new bag that I treated myself to before vacation.  TJ Maxx $39.99 by Raj.

I am gonna make this brief...I am exhausted from cleaning up after the pet lady that stayed here last week while Rob and I drove 10 hours to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  We stayed at a resort on the beach. We rented scooters, hung out on the balcony of our awesome suite on the 6th floor, relaxed in the lazy river pool, rode our bikes all over the place, drank beer and champagne in the hot tub, strolled the beach, ate good food and junk food, and I found the local goodwill where I shopped while Rob slept in the car.  So much fun but things at home with the crazy pet lady were not going as we had hoped.  I am going to explain in detail what she did and didn't do but I have to work this evening and it's getting late.  Promise more details about her this week.  Have a great day and stop by www.twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com and see how everyone rocked this look.  dawn xo

I never wear hats because I think they look strange on my giant head, but last night I had a dream that I was rocking a hat JUST like the one you're wearing. I don't remember if I looked as good in it as you do though :)

As usual, Dawn, I like your take on the look more than the original inspiration! You should start your own series, with yourself as the inspiration for your readers!
I prefer your warm colour palette, love the hat, and your new bag is a beauty.
Your holiday sounds fabulous, shame about the pet lady traumas. Don't fret about her, it's over and done now! xxxx

You look FABULOUS! The layering, the colors the set off your hair, the casual '70s vibe, the denim, everything is working and looking great! :)

amazing job. I join this blog hop every week and never have the right clothes. I don't know why. Perhaps next week. You did a great representation. Your ensemble looks great.

Hello petal, I am good, thank you :) Just remaining calm here as my 1 year old tears the room apart ;) I will sound like you from the video with your dogs in five seconds. I just bought that flower band on sale in a shop, I thought it was sweet, most of the time my daughters wear it. The dress, I got from a vintage shop, I liked the way it smelled, haha. Weird, I know. But, it smelled of sweet, pretty perfume that some older ladies wear, reminded me of my grandmother, so I had to have it. I've still not washed it as the smell would go. Hope you are keeping well love xoxo

you look like the epitome of autumn loveliness, dear dawn! yes, it finally cooled down a bit here in texas. yes, someday i probably will cut my hair that short again, but for now, i'm not feeling it. yes, i know somerset studios magazine. i used to subscribe. i have a lot of their art book publications too. i made facebook friends with many of their popular artists, so i can follow their art adventures. i get the feeling that pet sitter sounds like a doozy. :P have a wonderful time at work! :)

You look so GREAT! I think you look way better than Rachel Bilson! Too bad about the shortened vacation, though.

Your hair is looking amazing in these photos, Dawn! I love the knit hat, it is so cute. I'm so sorry that the pet lady caused all sorts of problems. I don't really trust too many people with my dogs and I've always left them with family when I go on vacation.
