I'M HOME...ended early

Hi!  How is everyone?  I am home!  So happy to be here.  Rob and I ended our vacation a day early for several reasons but I need a longer post than this one to explain the issues.  We had a great time and played hard!!!  In brief, we had a lady staying at our house who watches your pets like a nanny.  She stays all week and brings in your mail, takes out your trash, scoops litter, sleeps on your couch and basically lives in your home like you would.  All of the animals are safe thank God but she gave me lots of anxiety while I was away which in turn brought us home a day early and she is fired.  I don't mean to sound harsh but she is not my cup of tea.  I am grateful however that our five pets are ok.  She got paid and tipped before we left but I will not hire her again.  Sorry pet lady but this pet mama cares too much about her home and fur babies.
Anyway, it is Fall and our leaves are beginning to change.  Acorns covering the entire driveway and I am retiring my bathing suit.  I have the windows open and the country music playing.  Home is good.  Hope you are well, I miss you guys.  I can see that you are enjoying your Fall by checking and obsessing over instagram.  Follow along @suitcase vignettes and I will stalk follow you back.

You look awesome, as always! I feel so lucky that when we go out of town my baby brother jumps all over the chance to come stay at our house, eat our food and watch the animals. I think he might even treat them better than we do :) I'm not sure what I'm going to do when we move and he's not just a 15 minute drive away anymore. Booo.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you had to cut your vacation short because of her! I get really worried about my fur babies too and so I usually have family take care of them when I'm away.

I love your cowboy boots!

Dawn, that is such a great autumn look! I like every piece you're wearing, every colour, especially the necklace, it's perfect!
I'm glad your pets are fine. did anything happen while that lady kept them? I hope it was nothing bad. I know how pets feel when you leave them for even some days.. my Elvis is such a baby when I and my fiance leave him with my fiance's family.

Hope you had a great trip away, even if you did come home a little early. You scare me when you're mad! Don't ever get cross with me, I might cry...

What a gorgeous, fall and country inspired look. You look ready to stroll through a farmer's market or kick up your heels at a hoe-down.

I can't believe you thrifted those boots. They are in great condition and have fantastic detailing. Bravo!
