INSPIRATION MONDAY...Ashlee Simpson

The Inspiration Ashlee Simpson

Hi darlings,  I am participating in two birds Inspiration Monday today.  Hope your weekend was full of summertime fun!  I had to work both days but it went smoothly and I found out that I got a raise and my evaluation was excellent.  Thank you God!   My boss worked with me yesterday for a few hours and filled me in on things that I missed out on due to my schedule being different from hers.  We usually catch up on things when we do see each other.  She told me that I have a natural knack for working with people who have dementia and Alzheimer's.  Who knew?!  Y'all know I have only been working with the elderly for a little over a year with no prior experience except for my medical background.  I worked in the field of anesthesia for many years having had a lot of hands on experience in the operating room.  I was bedside, in the operating room, assisting the anesthesiologist and nurses while many patients went off to sleep for surgery, had epidurals for pain management or spinals for c sections.  I have experienced situations in the 20 plus year span of my career that have contributed to who I am today.  I don't mean to get all deep but I was always proud of what I did for a living.  Unfortunately, I became disheartened and burnt out over the last few years and decided to try something new.  It has fortunately, worked out so far.  My boss thinks I should delve deeper and takes some courses that could further my involvement with senior care activities.  It is something to think about.

You look fantabulous ;) Love the braids too. I think you should delve deeper, your a kind hearted person and I know the seniors love you, I wish someone like you had been around when my Nana had been in a place like that before she passed away, would have made it a lot nicer than it was for her, as she didn't like it at all. So, go and do it, you do marvelous work!! xox

Love, love, LOVE this interpretation! And your hair is adorable!
Also, thank you for your nice comment on my blog. I just ADORE cats, and am hoping to work in a feline-only veterinary practice! I have so much respect for those who care for feral kitties, too. Thank you for caring about them!

It sounds like you've found a new niche in your career. Best of luck, and congrats on the raise!

Congratulations on your evaluation and raise! It must be a great feeling to be working in a field you care so much about and also be getting the recognition for work well-done! This is a great take on the inspiration outfit. The pieces look like they were MADE to be worn together.
