THE SKINNY PILE...

Statement necklace/gift from husband for my birthday from Charming Charlies.

Shirt Marshall's
Pants thrifted goodwill
Shoes/Marc Fisher/Macy's

I was recently at a back yard barbecue in this outfit.  I met a woman there who told me that she liked my pants at that she had the same ones.  Then she told me that she has had them FOREVER and that they were in her skinny pile.  Does that make them vintage?   I know all about the skinny pile.  Do you have a skinny pile in you wardrobe?  Guilty!  I thrifted these pants around the time of my surgery and they now fit but I am not sure how flattering they are for my figure.  I think that I just liked the print and the flowy light weight material for summer.   I have lost 15 pounds since December and I am holding at  a 10lb weight loss since my surgery about over 2 months ago.  My waist is slowly coming into view which is making my boobs appear bigger to me....uh oh.  I have yet to really exercise regularly due to sheer laziness.  I walk about 2 times a week now that I am feeling better.

Anyway, thank you for the wonderful comments about my little cat redzo.  Today I have to take him for a dressing change.  Poor guy, he has really been through it.  Have a great weekend darling readers and hopefully I will be back to Inspiration Monday real soon.  Dawn xo

I really like that necklace! It's gorgeous. And I don't think the pants are unflattering, they're very floaty and summery.

Wow, Dawn your hair is sooo lovely! It's so luscious and such a colour! I think you look lovely in this outfit, the trousers are really striking and a great combo with the top and statement necklace! I thought I'd come and visit as I haven't seen you in a link-up for a while! Hope you are ok and your cat is better soon!

I like the trousers, the big necklace kind of balances out your attention, if you see what I mean. Anyway, I love the outfit, but YOU have to love it if it's going to be a keeper!
Glad to hear you are feeling better, also that your kitty cat is recovering.
I've got a couple of skinny things that I can't quite bring myself to get rid of, though they don't fit anymore, but mostly, there's no point hanging on to stuff I can't wear.
Your hair looked lovely straightened in your previous post, but I always think of you with those trademark gorgeous bouncy waves! xxxx

Those pants are so great! And great styling too.

I don't have a skinny pile. My weight doesn't fluctuate. It really never has. I'm just a size and that's it.

Although, I think I need to become a smaller size, for my health, but I'm not sure how I feel about that idea. Actually, I hate it. lol.

Have a wonderful weekend, Dawn!

You goddess, you. I know -- you've just come back from two weeks in Monte Carlo. Or Saint-Tropez. I've been busy sharing my kids' flu bug, so I'll soak up some of your sunshine, thanks.

I just bought some vintage linen patterned pants too. And they may not be that flattering on my body type either, but whatever..they're kind of too awesome not to wear. I thought I'm following you, I don't know why you don't show up in my feed.
