INSPIRATION MONDAY... white, yellow, grey

halle berry

Hello darling readers, I hope you had a great extended weekend.  I was mostly home with my husband and pets.  We did make it out once with friends for dinner but we pretty much nested in the basement and watched scary movies, ate good food, went on dog walks in the woods, cleaned the garage and outside of the house front and back.  Things are getting done around here slowly. We made room in the garage for furniture storage so that our hardwood floors can be installed in a few weeks.  We pretty much just let our carpet go to crap in the areas of the house that are getting hardwood.  People who already have hard floors are lucky that they don't have to deal with trying to keep carpet clean.  We took our shoes off at the door for 7 years. But with 2 dirty, playful dogs and 3 cats that love to puke, it is time to change.   The kitchen is painted and just about finished.  It is so easy to keep clean now that it is more organized and newer.  I am so blessed to have these new things in my home, so I am thanking God for them all.

Anyway, today is Inspiration Monday for me since I was lame yesterday and could not get my slacker self dressed.  I promised that today would be the day to comb my hair and put on some decent duds.  Who better to motivate me than Megan and Nora at TwoBirds?  So drop by and check them out for yesterday's Inspiration Monday and Todays' Sister remix.  I love their little vintage number from today.  Thanks for getting me dressed today, lovely birds.  Can't wait to be Megan's guest at her wedding next summer....I am planning on it!  Can you  imagine that wedding? Dawn xo

The white with the zingy yellow looks wonderfully fresh.
You made me laugh with your reference to cats who love to puke - yeah, I've got some of those too! xxxx

Your gray and yellow looks fantastic! I am loving this color combo lately.
I had a total jammie day today along with 2 separate naps...if ya wanna talk lazy. haha I did get up, shower and wash my hair, and get into clean jammies though. I'm a clean lazy.
You're going to LOVE those hardwood floors. With pets...I'd be insane without mine. Hardwood floors are definitely a blessing.

Wow you look amazing in yellow and as always your hair is perfect! Our current condo and new house is always completely hardwood (except the bedrooms), makes cleaning a lot easier! Haha my cats always throw up in the one room with the carpet- urgh!
