VINTAGE LESLIE FAY....orange satin pleats

Hello darlings and newer darlings, so glad you could join me on a Friday afternoon.  Today is four days before my breast reduction surgery so I decided to wear a pretty, vintage, satin Leslie Fay dress that I found in Goodwill a while back. ($5.99) The reason that I chose this dress is because it fits my top and I am not sure whether or not it will be too big after the surgery.  Usually, dresses and tops that have button closures, play peek a boob thru one of the spaces in between the buttons on me.  Not today, it fits.  Why am I having the (    .   ) (    .    ) reduction then?    Because I can't lift them up or carry them around any longer.  Right after this shoot, I took off my bra at home and felt instantly better.  As Shayla from Fortyish and Fluffy would say:  Set those pups free....too funny!  She is one of my best girls, that Shayla.   I have known her since we were little kids.   So I am taking the advice of my doctor, best gal pals, husband (does not mind either way) and myself....I am saying goodbye to two, big, wonderful, healthy, boobs that have served me well my entire life.   I am setting these girls free as I know them now but will be saying hello to a newer version of them soon.  Thanks for the mammories girls!!

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and a special thank you  to Emily of Tinfoil Tiaras and Two Birds who will be guest posting for me next week.   I look forward to their beauty and wit. I will be participating in Inspiration Monday but that will be my last post for a bit.   Stay inspired!  dawn xo

Your hair is the most unbelievable accessory to every outfit. Simply stunning. You remind me of SATC's Carrie, whose hair was practically its own character.

Adding the fur capelet thingy on top is pure pure glam! You should be getting out of a limo missy.

Looking forward to the guest posts and your eventual return to the blog world.

Dawn you look just beautiful! Yesterday I thrifted a deep blush pleated dress similar to the one you're wearing (I'll post it on Mon). You are so beautiful and I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way as you prepare for the surgery. (By the way how amazing is the outfit with the fur and brooch- stunning!)

I was going to ask you about that Dawn, if you would have to change out your entire wardrobe because of the surgery. That's something to think about, BUT i wouldn't mind doing. HaHaHa Dawn, your dress is so pretty. I love the color. GREAT fur jacket and that brooch is sweet girl. LOOKING GOOD! :D

Oh Lady, you are BEYOND lovely in that orange satin dress. If you do not get to wear again with your lovely new (smaller) boobs, it will have served you and us well on this one occasion.
I will be praying for you as you have this procedure and for your recovery. Can't wait to hear about and see (kind of) the new ladies:))
