Hi Darlings, and newer darlings, welcome!!! So glad you dropped by.  Today is Friday's thrift because I was thrifting my azz off yesterday.  I met up with a friend from work who is as crazy as i am loves to thrift as much as me.  We didn't actually meet there but we noticed each other shopping and it WAS ON!  Our carts looked like a hot mess and completely full.  She kept saying that she had to call her 17 year old daughter to check on her but her phone was buried deep inside the cart.....true thrifters know exactly what I am talkin bout here.  You just can't seem to pull yourself away from the racks to get to that phone.  Forget about it if you have to pee while thrifting, you will hold it longer than you ever thought possible.  (laughing at myself)  Anyway, Thursday's on Suitcase Vignettes, I like to showcase my finds to encourage you to stop shopping the mannequins at the mall and get creative in the thrift stores.  It is a craft and I am a master.  If you are ever in the Southern NJ area and you wanna get your thrift on, email me d_flexe@yahoo.com.  You don't need a lot of money, you just need and open mind.  Ok, check it out, how perfect was the timing that my new Anthropologie catalog for March showed up in the mail?  I took that bad mamajama with me and got inspired by the colors and bold patterns...what is keeping you inspired besides pinterest which by the way are you following me?  click on the right upper of the blog to check out what other things feed my love for creativity.  Have a great weekend.  I will be stopping by.  I am linking this to Shayla at http://www.fortyishandfluffy.blogspot.com/.  She has an eyecandy link up.  Post anything that inspired you during your week that is deemed eyecandy.  xo

Great finds. Love the green blouse, and how you've teamed it and the floral blouse with the striped top.
I agree you can find anything and everything secondhand if you have an open mind and you persevere! Looking forward to seeing you wearing all your goodies.
Have a lovely weekend. xx

If I wore skirts, I'd be stealing all of them! That coral color is going to be everywhere this Spring so it looks like you're ahead of the game. You have such an eye for pairing things I never would have thought to! See you soon (tonight!)

Love the white top and the kelly green bow blouse.

And so much word on while not peeing while thrifting. Last time I went with my friend, Alex, she asked me if I ever pee and I said not while thrifting!

Love your thrift finds this week, Dawn. Isn't it great to walk through and randomly find total complete outfits...for cheap? I lay everything out of the bed when I get home and show hubby how this goes with this and this goes with this and how much everything costs (only 99 cents on sale!!) and he's impressed and thinks I'm such a good shopper. haha
You're soooo creative with your pairings though... and a great inspiration. That white ruffle hem top is so full of boho romance. Love it. And can't wait to see you modeling these treasures.

Those are stunning, I like how you paired them too!! I love thrifting since a child with my Nana on a Saturday to all the garage sales and shops. She was a genius at it. We would come home with big big bags of treasures. I'm still the same, I like going into charity shops & I'm always walking around with piles of stuff until I make my choice at the end, If you put it down, someone will be away with it. Maybe one day if ever I am back home in the US for a visit, I will swing by and we can go thrifting together..never been to the part of America you live in, it would be fun :) Hope you are doing well my flower & wish you a wonderful weekend :) xox

I love the floral top under a striped vest. You (.)(.) operation is the best excuse EVER to do lots of thrifting in the next little while :) I can totally relate. My cart sometimes gets so full I start hanging clothes off the bar to push the cart. That usually gets you the evil eye from the staff who are thinking about how many things they'll have to put away!
