QUICK HELLO AND UPDATE...boobstatus

HOLDING MY GOWN CLOSED...LIKE THE GLADIATOR SHOES WITH THE HOSPITAL GOWN?  Hi it's little ole me in the mirror...

This place is so pristine, fresh flowers in every exam room and waiting areas....crazy!

I LOVE THE STERILITY OF THIS PLACE...floors are like so clean and  I love the huge white tiles....cute stool.

My outfit that I wore today, how adorable are these Lucite chairs?  I am really digging their style.

I wore my blue Talbot's super flowy, blue maxi skirt, striped gap cardi, zebra printed top, brown leather belt and an antique necklace, all thrifted.

Just in case you have forgotten what I look like.  The doctor told me to buy a sports bra so that I can graduate from my surgical training bra.  Of course I stopped at Marshall's on the way home and ended up buying this hat for $1.00.  I put it on right away because it was freakin freezing and windy like you could not believe today.  I am going to work tonight but I am on light duty.  Bingo with the seniors is light duty.  Love to all, miss ya!
Hello darlings, I have not forgotten about you.  I hope you still think of me.  I woke up in terrible pain today, my boobs were aching terribly but I had my two week check up today at the doctor's office this morning in Philadelphia.  I love going there,  the office is a "state of the art facility" with it's ultra modern decor, lime green rugs, white leather couches with big round glass topped tables in front of them  filled with awesome magazines, floor to ceiling sheer white curtains, beautiful people working there and a very welcoming atmosphere.  Everything is just so bustling and the energy is crazy with clients filling the waiting area.  I took some photos (not of my boobs) while I was in the exam where I  was waiting to be seen by my doctor.  The reason for the pain is that I am overdoing it....period.  I have to take it easy.  I am trying.  It is very difficult for me to do so.  Anyway, Dr. Cross told me that my boobs look perfect for where I am in the whole healing process and that I should continue to take it easy and see him again in 3 weeks.   My husband told me I look smaller and they look higher....yay.  I have only lost about 4 to 6 lbs since the surgery but that I will see more weight loss in about 1 to 2 months time and I am allowed to exercise again....but without boob jiggling activity.  Treadmill and some light arm weights...doctor's orders.  Stay inspired.  dawn xo

Dawn you look beautiful as usual- I'm sorry to hear you're still in so much pain-ouch! It would be hard for me to take it easy as well (I love me some boob jiggling exercise!) The doctor's office is beautiful and modern- I love that you notice things like that even when you're going in for surgery- so optimistic!

Take care not to stress your body. It will get better! I had to get used to standing and even walking different. I lost 4lbs of tissue in my surgery. That's a lot to carry on shoulders!
That is one fab doctors office!

You're so funny to think of taking pics at your checkup! That place is really sterile - which is a good thing. Glad you're coming along with the booboids. Come for dinner Saturday and we'll wait on you hand and foot! No Wii dancing this time!

I'm not good at taking it easy either. You'll have to force yourself so you can recover faster and get to all the stuff you want to!

That is one amazingly modern dr's office. The decor definitely underlines the state of the art-ness, doesn't it?

Who knew that interior design inspiration could come from a surgical clinic? I'm impressed you went in look so stylish, it would have been sweatpants for me!

I read all three of your latest posts about your recovery and found myself grabbing my own chest as you talked about purple nurples. Ouch ouch ouch you're going through so much. I hope you can get through these next couple of weeks and back to exercise, seniors at work and everything else you love.
