INSPIRATION MONDAY...the saturday's

The Saturdays...all so adorable.

Hi, welcome to Inspiration Monday.  How was your weekend?  I had a productive weekend although I was really sad for the people that lost their homes and loved ones.  Thank you if you stopped by.  On a lighter note, our headboard came in and my husband installed it right away with my prompting, of course.  It is so grand and pretty.  Now I need better bedding to match it's beauty.  I spent a lot of time searching several stores for just the right set but came up empty handed.

I chose the chickie with the red pants and nauticalesque jacket because I knew I had this thrifted Merona blazer in my closet and red pants that are really comfy.

I am sorry if you are sick of seeing these Inc., boots.  I realized that after having done this photos that I need a more neutral boot like the ones in the photo of the Saturdays.  They are such a great color.
Everything I have on is thrifted from Goodwill with the exception of my boots.  It really pays to thrift!  Also, Camille from Camille Yanair blog took me up on my thrifting offer since she just moved to South Jersey.  Can't wait to meet up Camille!!  She has a keen eye for thrifted items, check out her last haul from our Goodwills in the area.  It's always fun to meet up with bloggers.  This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting with Shayla of FortyishandFluffy.  We celebrated her husband's birthday over dinner. It was delish although,  I ate too much. My husband and I met them there but her husband had no clue that we were gonna show.  It was fun as always hanging out with them!!

I am having my surgery next week, yes I am excited and nervous.  I am ready!!!  I am having Two Birds guest post for me which is exciting too.  Stay tuned for the bathing suit top reveal...I will be using the extra wide screen on this computer to post it...lol.  I am doing this as a before and after...so if there are any people out there who are faint of heart, don't view the post...you have been officially warned!!!

If you would like to join Inspiration Monday, just click on TwoBirds and get in on the fun, grab their button and follow along.  I am also linking this to Patti at Not Dead Yet Style since I am feeling so visible in my red pants for Visible Monday.  Thanks for hosting ladies.  dawn xo

Simply stunning. I would never have thought to improve upon the navy and red with a green tie-neck blouse. You're so smart! I like the off-centre bow. You picked a nice background for the photos as the wall suits the nautical theme well. I am liking the rope ties in the inspiration photo blazer. Would make a fun DIY.

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery. We in the blog world will be thinking of you xx. Have your hubby post an update so we don't worry!! lol

Love this outfit, Dawn.
A speedy recovery from your surgery. I know you're going to be so happy to have this done. My daughter was laughing and telling me the other day that she remembers about 10 years ago me talking with someone about how we'd be so happy with small boobs and she said she just didn't get it at the time.....but now she does....as she's just turned 30.
