SHEETS OF LOVE....

Hi darlings, I am linking up to Megan at Mackey Madness today.  I have spread some love to a family member and wanted to share it with you.  I encourage you to take part in this wonderful link up if you can or just go here and read about the magic that is happening just from simple, random acts of kindness.  I originally found out about this through the beautiful Anna at In Honor of Design.  Thank you Anna for spreading the word and the love.  Thank you Megan for hosting the link up.

Here is how the kindness went down.  My little niece Emma Jane, who is three, has been sick for over a week with a really bad virus.  My sister Jill, Emma's mom, has been keeping in touch with me for updates about Emma's status. Poor thing is just feeling terrible, fever, cough, vomiting, the whole nine.  My sister told me that Emma had gotten sick all over everything including sheets, blankets, pillows, you get my drift, just a mess.  I decided to buy my sister a new set of sheets, new pillow, waterproof pillow cover, a new raincoat for Emma (no joke, I just thought that the raincoat was cute plus it had hearts all over it), and dinner from the new Chipoltle that just opened nearby(for my sister, not Emma).   I dropped everything off at her house Saturday night.  My sister was so thankful and appreciative which I knew she would be but it made me feel good knowing that I could help her out during this rough patch.  Emma Jane is doing much better today, thank God.

II love that other people linking up are randomly helping strangers.  I will definitely participate in that act of kindness, but I need to think of something to do for my husband Rob, first.  Have a great day!  Dawn xo

Aww. How very nice of you. I'm one of those people who will put together huge packages full of goodies when someone's sick. So nice that you were able to help out your sister and bring treats for her girl at the same time. Glad she's feeling better!

P.S. Thank you SO much for your comments. They're so nice and always make my day. THANK YOU!
