INSPIRATION MONDAY....spinning records

Sarah Jessica Parker

My husband and Shayla's husband moved my huge antique monster of a cabinet, out of my living room into my bedroom so I have an empty wall in the living room for indoor shots.  If you see debri on the carpet just ignore it, I am having the carpets pulled up soon...yay!!  So many changes to the house, so grateful for improvements and renovations.    I promise to show you some of it when it's ready to be revealed.

Today is Inspiration Monday at http://www.twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com/  and I am linking up with sisters, Megan and Nora for our spin on Sarah Jessica Parker's outfit.  It's so much fun to have Inspiration Monday to look forward to.  I am always inspired by their celebrity pick but somehow manage to go way off in left field when it comes looking similar. This is because I am super inspired to buy things and try things like this new to me, thrifted dress for $6.90 at Village Thrift.  At least the color is close.  Anyway,  I am feeling quite visible in my hot pink tights so I am also linking up to Patti at Not Dead Yet Style, another reason to get dressed, Visible Monday.  Thank you all so much for reading my Smashion interview it meant a lot to me as your comments were sweet and encouraging. A special thank you goes out to my girl, Collette at Statements in Fashion. She featured me as one of her Top six on Saturday for her Blogger Link Love post. Check out her blog as it is full of fashion, interior design, great recipes for vegetarians and don't forget to read her story because it is truly heartfelt and she is amazing.  Plus, anytime you are featured in the same post as Kendi Everyday, you count your blessings.   I am thrilled...thank you Collette, you made my week!! Have a great night!  Dawn xoxo

Looove the flower brooch! Such a great little pop. Actually, the whole outfit is fab.

The fact that you veer from the original outfit is just a testament to your creativity. The outfit is just meant to be a starting point. I, on the other hand, tend to be a good copier but bad wanderer. Hot pink tights? Sure!

I like your outfit so much. How cool is it that the dress has pockets? I love pockets. The tights are such a beautiful color against the blue.

Looking lovely in this vibrant outfit! Hair is also luscious (like that blogger in your other post- how fab is her hair!)
Good luck for the (.) (.) ! I understand it must be really worrying for you yet exciting of course to anticipate the weight that will be lifted from your daily existence (no pun intended)
