FOREVER YOUNG....i wore it first

Hello darling readers, I born in the late 60's and was influenced as a pre-teen in the 70's by the styles my very own mother wore.  Somehow it permeated my brain and stuck with me throughout.  I  remember my first pair of bleached out thrifted bell bottoms,  I also remember my favorite plaid, wool, bells...so I can say, I wore them first!  Not to say that I don't like the newer made to look like vintage styles of today, I do but there aint nothin like the real thing.

My mom could be seen in these large sun glasses driving her huge, black, gas guzzling Oldsmobile...
Vintage mini dress worn with a black slip under to add some length and vintage sun glasses.  Vintage VW bus belongs to my neighbor but I borrow it for shoots once in a while.  Where do you draw your influence and inspiration?  Have a great Wednesday darlings...peace!

your mom sounds amazing! my mom had 5 young daughters, so she dressed for comfort and to save money. but before she had us, i have seen pictures and she was quite a fashion plate! i wish she would have kept her clothes...although she was so small, so they would not fit! you look amazing in these colors and i love your photos!

Love this!! So pretty!! You look fantastic!! I draw my influences from old stuff!! I used to wander around in my mom's old 60/70's gear as a child and then wore them properly when I grew into them!! She went to a KC & The Sunshine Band gig just before having me, I do love them now!! I got all her vintage stuff, she thinks I should have been born then!! You're right, the real things are better than now!! Even the 80's stuff they have brought back was better when I was a child!! Have a sweet day doll xox
