Hello darling readers, today I was going to link up with Tammy at http://www.silverstyle50.blogspot.com/ for Trending through the Decades but I was too late. This week she chose layers. I think there is a fine line between looking like a bag lady and appearing chic when layering clothing, especially when you are short and the layers are thick and/ or long.. The Olsen's do this with such ingenious skill. |
I have been wearing this vintage Lancaster hat a lot. |
I have been living in these Levis jeans lately. I hacked off the bottom so that I can wear them without dragging them on the ground...who has time for hemming? |
vintage thrifted hat F21 cape thrifted beaded tassel sweater Levis jeans that I hacked off at the bottom thrifted Mossimo boots/new with tags Thirfted turquoise color necklace |
Anyway, home on the ranch has been busy but I will try to stop by your blogs today and grab some inspiration from y'all. Hope you are staying inspired in this frigid weather...I am trying to. I missed the link up to Tammy at Silver Style but drop in for a minute, get inspired, make some new blogger friends and get started on Trending Through The Decades. |

Ooooh, I LOVE this outfit!!! Seriously, it's totally my style :) I think you look fabulous and nothing close to a bag lady ;) I hope you're having a great week!
You look fab in layers, but I'd agree with you on the importance of editing. Great hat!
I totally love this look! It has such a 70s, boho vibe, which I adore. Gorgeous, Dawn!

That cape is phenomenal!!!!
Hey doll! I miss you - we have to get together SOON! I love this poncho - you look super comfy and casual. I just got my hair lopped off at the shoulder. Sometimes I can't take it anymore and grab the scissors!!! Hope all is well! xoxo
all i could think of as i looked at your photos is how strikingly beautiful your hair is. i'm sure you look superb however you decide to cut or style it.
I LOVE you in that hat!! And the combo is a great one--I think the Olsen sisters would be proud:) Your hair is so lovely shining in the sun--of course it will be fabulous at a new length too, though I can't imagine you without your long, cascading curls:))
Dawn, you really wear hats so well girl. I think you did a fabulous job layering. I can't believe you're cutting your hair. It looks so fabulous long. It will look fabulous shoulder length too, but I hate to see you cut it. Hope all is well! ((HUG))
