A HOLIDAY INN MY CLOSET...vintage sparkles

Hello darling readers and new followers, today I am excited to share with you my vintage, Joanna sparkle shirt that I scored at my local church thrift store recently.  That place is a goldmine full of special treasures at amazing prices.  When I visit, I am greeted by Theresa with a kiss and a hug...can't get much better than that!!  I paid 3 dollars for this little number and just in time for the spectacular wedding that Rob and I are attending on New Year's Eve.  Dana, who is a follower of this blog and a friend from my previous job, is marrying Mike, her sweetheart.

Next up I am more even more excited to share with you my vintage Gianni Versace blazer that I snagged at Goodwill for (are you seated?) good, I wouldn't want you to faint, $3.99.  Don't hate me, I love you!!   I have never worn this until today.  I love it!

Chandelier earrings( are they still in style?)  who cares, I am wearing mine.  Avon catalog years ago.

This darling little ribbon is borrowed from a thrifted dress in my closet. Shoes from Macy's BCBG, recent sale purchase.

Vintage beaded purse in perfect condition was less than $5 at Goodwill as well.  Lauren Conrad for Kohls' pleated skirt.

So what do you think darlings, is this outfit New Year's Eve wedding worthy?  I really wanted to avoid the malls and use items in my closet hence, HOLIDAY INN MY CLOSET.  PLUS, comfort is a huge factor.  Who wants to be dying in their heels and tight dress?  Not me.  I need to be able to get low on the dance floor!!!

I could end up changing my mind completely and wearing my LBD that is very comfortable.  Have a great day and thank you so much for dropping by.  Dawn xo

Leave the LBD home. This one is a winner and pretty hot too! Ask your husband for his opinion. He'll side with me.

i've been attracted to anything sparkly so the photos are all magnetizing (does this word even exist lol) and sparkly chandeliers earrings are always in fashion!
