CHARLIE AND THE TRAILER....

Hello darlings, I am so excited to show you my potential purchase, isn't she adorable?  I always imagined her in a different color but just think, green and yellow will go with every season, and holiday.  She has some problems but she has all the fixins I am lookin for in a vintage trailer.  I have always wanted to journey out to The Country Living Fair in  Ohio.   I have to make this happen.  My close friend Kathy (aka, dollface) and I wanted to go this year but my plans changed due to a pending surgical procedure that was postponed.  Don't worry it is nothing serious.  Anyway, this little gal lives a few blocks from my home and belongs to Charles pictured below.  He is 85 years young and sharp as a tack...seriously.  You know I have a heart for Seniors, and he has my heart.  He is a hoot.  Rob and I spent 2 hours with him yesterday at his home inspecting the trailer and his basement which is packed from floor to ceiling with stuff, glorious stuff.  As a matter of fact, his entire house, 3 sheds, attic, trailer, and basement are reminiscent of a hoarders paradise.  He kept offering Rob and I stuff which makes me believe that he is not a hoarder but just a man who worked in a business that offered him free items for years and years.  He donated a lot of his items to nursing homes.  How sweet.

This is Charlie, he is funny and bright.  My goodness, I can't help but notice how much I need to stand up straight.  Charlie has better posture than me...eeek!  Hey, have a great day and I will keep you posted.  If I show up at your door someday, don't worry,  she has a bathroom, kitchen, and a bed.  I just may need to use your shower....ha!  lots of love, Dawn xoxo

Oh, my God! We have gone from tent camping with infants to trailers to a cabin........They are all so fun!
My favorite little trailer was in Michigan. This lady and her Mom painted flowers and vines all over it. It was so cool!
Just a little bit of my hippie coming out! Take care!

I don't even like trailers. They're not interesting to me. I probably would never buy one....

But if I did, I'd buy that one. That is a gorgeous gorgeous little trailer. It's cute and probably cozy.

I've never, ever thought I wanted a wee trailer. . . until now. Suddenly, I'm envisioning a tiny space to decorate - kind of like an adult version of a playhouse. When my husband wonders where this new obsession came from I'll point him in your direction. Hee hee!
