Hello and happy Monday. I hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend. I was off for 4 days and enjoyed all of it. I finally got around to dying my roots which were about 2 inches long. I saw my natural color...mousy brown, and remembered why I originally began dying it red. What's that? You thought I was a natural redhead? I am, it's our secret. I finally went thrifting after 2 weeks and only spent $28.00 bucks. I scored some nice things but tried to stick to items that I will wear now. You have to check out http://www.twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com/ today for Inspiration Monday with Jessica Alba as our inspiration. It is a laid back, cool, casual, look which is what I am all about, usually. I did the entire shoot with my zipper down. I got a good chuckle when I came inside and walked past the mirror in my room. Yep, unzipped!!! Glad I changed my mind about going somewhere else for the shoot. I got some good belly hurting, deep, silent, eyes tearing, laughs out of this post by Nita over at Mod Vintage Life...go there now and read but also give her some woman to woman blogger love for the tough times she has been having lately. We love you Nita, I can't stop laughing when I think about your incident. Wishing you the best girl. A shout out goes to Patti of Not Dead Yet Style as I will be linking up to her Visible Monday. Stop by and join the fun. Dawn xoxo

If only we were the same size, I would insist you send me this outfit pronto! I do love it. The purse is so cool. I am drawn to those type of bags.
You do have the most amazingly beautiful hair and I would never have thought it to be anything but natural.

Dawn, this is so you! BEAUTIFUL! I think you could wear this outfit anywhere (at least I would) maybe zip it up or you might get propositioned! Oh well, that would be fun too!
Trying to decide the next trending link up.
I was thinking fur, but don't want to offend anybody. What do you think?
Your tapestry bag is just lovely. I have a little collection of tapestry bags which are some of my favorites in my closet. And I love this whole look for the Fall. Your jacket looks so warm and cozy :-)
Dawn the first thing I noticed was your amazing hair. It always looks so good!!! Your outfit was on point. Love that fur and vintage bag with those jeans. You looked great. LOL at the unzipped drama! It happens to the best of us. :D

On those pesky roots giving us away (mind more so than yours no doubt). There was the one time I was in an immigration building for one of our adoptions, and a guy asked me if I was from Russia....LOL.
Love your new pics at the title bar...lovely!
Great IM look today--you had a great chambray shirt and the dark, flare jeans are perfect. I'm LOVING your faux fur and that vintage bag so much too! Glad you enjoyed your time off:-))

Haha Redzo is like my Marley cat who would also be my gay son! So cute! I love the fur-very fabulous!
i like yours better than the inspiration!!!
Your hair looks great! You know I am partial to red hair esp. the artificial kind! Love your Outfit! Very Classy! I love your fur! What an awesome find!
