THURSDAY'S THRIFT...struck gold!

Lately, I've been finding items that are gold in color.   I grouped them together for this post since they look so glamorous,  complementing one another.  I also found a gold la may pillow in which I will use to display my vintage pins.

This vintage maxi skirt by Joyce will be useful around the holidays.  Goodwill $3.99

This beaded lariat necklace/belt was less than $2.00 at Goodwill..

This Chanel-esque vintage bag has a significant gold, chain link handle that is in great shape.  It practically matches the skirt..$2.99 Goodwill...

These shoes were found this week at Village Thrift Store for less than $5.00.  They just happen to be my size.  Any ideas on how to style them would be appreciated.  I think somebody replaced the buckle/tab  that the strap attaches to but they still look charming...

This is a close up of the print on the skirt.  The belt was fortunately, still intact.

For less than $20.00 I scored some elegant items.  I still need a sparkly shirt that I have yet to find while thrifting.  What is on your list of thrift scores?  Would love to know what you are hoping to find.  Have a great Friday darlings.  Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

My BF makes fun of me for my love of gold but you know what - I will never change. If it sparkles and have a golden metallic sheen, I'm all over it.

These gold finds made my day.

P.S - something tells me you're partial to orange, which is my favorite color :P

Wow, that maxi skirt is gorgeous! I can't wait to see it on you. As for the shoes, they're super sweet too, and I would probably throw them on with some jeans and a blazer, which is probably too easy:-)
