FRINGE CAPE...link up

Hi darlings, it's late and I am watching old episodes of Rosanne as I type this.  I hope you had a good day.  I am linking up with Tammy for Trending Through The Decades featuring capes.  Tammy is a great gal.  I love her humor and she has great style as well.  Drop by and check out her blog Silver Style

This tree was falling in my yard today and I caught it just in time.  I could have been seriously injured!  I thought it would make a good photo so I held it up and clicked the remote on my camera that I don't own.

seriously though, this tree is leaning on another tree way in the back of my yard.  It fell during a huge storm that we had.  It needs to be removed before it really falls.

I had such a tough time shooting these photos today....I dropped my camera, a button fell off my cape, it began to rain, I sunk way into the mud, my hair got frizzier as the rain fell, my feet began to feel sore, I felt old, I needed a cup of coffee,  it sucked.  I made the best of it and pushed forward.  Does that ever happen to anyone during a shoot where you begin to feel frustrated?

I put the rain hat on because my hair went completely flat and began to frizz, I took the time to curl it this morning which is a real job in of itself but again, I did it anyway hoping to get a few good days out of it.  Wrong!   Well anyway, enough of my rant.  Thrifted cape, dress, boots, purse, bracelet. My hat was from a swap that my friend Jill has at her home.  Have  a great day and stay inspired !!! Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

You look marvelous flower!! I love the outfit, the colour and design of the dress is wonderful!! And your hair looks super, I have curly hair that reacts to rain and weather and tends to drive me crazy, so I know how that can be. Weather always seems to get in the way of photo shoots, but it didn't stop you from looking radiant :) xxx

Well, one would never know of any of your mishaps by looking at the pics -- you look absolutely gorgeous: the colors, the shapes *and* your hair. Oh yes, and the shoes!

Is it weird that I yelled out, "Careful" when I saw you under that tree? I didn't think so.

I love this outfit. The hat made it even cuter.

I get frustrated every day when I take my pictures. I hate all of my stupid poses. But they're all I've got.

xo,
Tracy
