Hi darlings, feeling a little better today. This ailment seems to come and go. I feel like I have more strength today just like I did the day I helped my husband clean the shed. Very strange feeling but I am thankful that today I am not in as much pain because it is Thursday's thrift where I like to showcase my savings. I am not interested so much as to what you've spent on an item as much as I am interested in what you have saved on an item. This quote was inspired by my friend and follower of this blog Jenni (aka cupcake). She loves to bake and she is good at it. You can see her here when I featured her on another blog stint called "Star of my blog". For some reason all of the photos will not show up once you click to see her huge closet but there are enough to get a good look at her wardrobe. Anyway, today I bring you a Valentino super luxurious vest for Fall. I paid...(don't hate me and you better sit down for this one) $1.99 at the Village thrift a while back. I paired it with the no name vintage scarf that I had to have for the same price. This is why I love thrifting, I paid the same price for a no name vintage leaf print scarf as I did for a Valentino sweater vest made from as stated on the label...virgin wool...ooooh baby!! |

very cute! i think the vest/scarf combo would look great with some tailored khakis
A Valentino find? That's fabulous! I also really love the shoes and glasses- looks like it'd be a really cute vintage outfit.
Sincerely,
Sabrina

I adore those glasses :)) Thank you so much for the birthday wishes..I appreciate them..I have been off enjoying the week with my husband as he took it as a holiday time for my birthday, but I will be back in the new week :)) I hope you are doing well and wish you a great weekend xo Kizzy!!
Thinking of you...just catching up on your blog and a million other things...will call you tomm.. cupcake (thanks for the shout out!!!)
Wow, great finds! Love the sweater.
I really like the boat shoes. I have had my eye on some for a while, but it seems as though they are all cut so narrow! I have little wide, wide feet.
I think the tailored khaki idea that Tanyabell said would look great, especially with a blouse underneath the vest and wearing the scarf.
you always find the best things!
thank you for stopping by, after being on vacation for two weeks it's been kind of difficult to get back into blogging.
But I do always find find the time to check on your blog even if I don't comment.
I wish you a wonderful weekend!
Daisy
