THE WOODS...part1 {new blog feature}

I can't tell you how much I enjoy the quiet of the woods.  I have been inspired to include this as a new blog feature.  I love recording my new discoveries so I am going to share with you my photos in collage form, my finds in THE WOODS!  I have been wandering through them everyday with the pups.  They trail off and I stand there gazing at every little detail, especially the fantastic rays of light reflecting through the trees and the numerous species of mushrooms.  After the rain, drops of water fall from the trees leaving a sprinkle of sunshine and raindrops like a brilliant misty waterfall....so beautiful.   An entirely new place to explore and take photos is just what I needed.  The pups now demand that I take them everyday by nudging me with their wet black noses.  Yesterday my husband went with me and I captured these photos.  I remembered to bring the little ceramic squirrel for the mushroom shots....I hope you enjoy this new feature as I am hoping to update it on a biweekly basis.

You're so lucky to have such a tranquil space literally right in your backyard! It's not only a perfect back drop for your photos but so nice for just relaxing. I love how you thought to bring that little squirrel with you!! LOL!

Awe how magical!! Totally feel like I am there with you. I grew up in Vancouver, BC where I spent a good chunk of my time running through the woods and trails. Gorgeous old growth trees & creatures. Totally feel at home in the woods too. LOVE this feature. xo
