WOWZA.... I can see my waist
Hello Darlings, Saturday was a very exciting day for me. A day that I had been anticipating for a long time. I met a friend and follower of this blog in Doylestown, Pa. She was joining me for my first proper bra fitting and hopefully, bra purchase. Remember when Oprah did the episode about how most women wear the wrong bra size? Well, I didn't tune in that day but I heard about it.....AND, unfortunately I am part of the statistic of women who fall into the category of WRONG BRA SIZE. As a matter of fact, I was so far off(my bras were too small) that it was a real shocker to find out my true size. Boy was I off. My dear friend told me about a place in Doylestown, Pa. named Sweet Blossoms that specializes in finding your correct size and proper fit. This can be a sensitive subject for some people and I apologize if this post offends you. Like I said, I was excited to finally be able to afford and make time for something that was important enough for me to travel almost 50 miles each way for. As we arrived at the adorable boutique we were greeted by Michele who wisked me off to the dressing room for THE SIZING. I know that Vic. Secret can size you and is located a few miles away from me at the mall but I have been there done that. They sold me a bra 3 times too small. Sorry Vicky, you don't make bras that fit me. Anyway, Michele at Sweet Blossoms disappeared for a minute and returned with bigger bras than the one I was wearing. I tried many styles and colors as my assistant (Michele) and my friend critiqued each bra by giving me their honest opinion. I made my final decision on 2 nude colored brassieres, size.....BIGGGGGG. I am not bragging by any stretch of the bra strap here...believe me. If you were around me enough, you would know that I would like to be a small C. That's a story for another post. Ladies, if you are ever in the market for great service and a proper fitting for your girls, treat yourself to Sweet Blossoms Lingerie. Your girls will stand at attention.... and your back and shoulders will thank you when you are 90....I promise. (.) (.) Lots of love, Dawnxo

I love this post!!! I think its great that you went to a locally-owned shop instead of the corporate giants and it looks like you had amazing treatment. BTW you have the perfect hourglass and your new bra simply helps show it off. Vamooom!
Love this post! This place looks gorgeous. I've never even had a proper bra fitting- I must get this done soon!
Hugs xoxo
I wish I had your problem with bra sizes haha. Congratulations on being bigger than you thought you were though!! I remember when I was pregnant with my first son and I got remeasured and I grew 3 cup sizes. . . .then with the second one after I shrunk back, I grew 4 cup sizes from my original. . .but now it went back down though once I was done nursing each son. oh well. back to A. :: sigh ::
So funny. A couple of years ago I was told by a friend in he 'know' to get properly sized. I did. After 6 years of wearin a 34c, I was told I was in fact a 32dd. A size you cant even buy in most stores(not in ireland anyway)
It is the perfect fit however so they were right. When I go to the states to visit my sis in the states, Victoria Secret always size me wrong and dont in fact stock 32dd. it pisses me right off. (cause their bras are pretty) blast!
