hehe yes I know who Michael Landon is. I was raised on the Little House show. I have also seen all the episodes many times. I think it always said int he intro that it was based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. She wrote 9 books. Her daughter wrote books too of her own upbringing by Almanzo and Laura. That's really cool that you went to Michael Landon's high school. I remember when he died. My mom was sad . . maybe because she had a crush on him back when he was on Bonanza. hehehehe. I think they were the same age too but I'm not sure. Maybe he was a couple years older only. You should read the books sometime if you are up to it. The show was a bit different though. There were only few stories that were in the books and others that were inspired from things mentioned in the books. For instance Mary in reality never married. She did go to college for the blind though! How she became blind in the book was different than the show though. She didn't gradually lose her eyesight like they showed in the show. She didn't even wear glasses at all . . it just happened very suddenly but I won't spoil it for you HOW, but there was a reason. Also the Ingalls never adopted any children in reality.
