THURSDAY'S THRIFT....

TODAY'S THRIFT BRINGS TO REMEMBRANCE MY DAYS OF KINDERGARTEN WHEN WE WOULD PLAY WITH COLORFUL, WOODEN PUZZLES THAT WERE KEPT IN AN OPEN FILE CABINET WITH DIFFERENT SLOTS FOR US TO ACCESS THE PUZZLES. EACH PUZZLE WAS MADE UP OF A DIFFERENT CATEGORY INCLUDING FRUITS, VEGETABLES, TOOLS, ANIMALS AND THE ALPHABET JUST TO MENTION A FEW. THEY WERE MADE BY JUDY/INSTRUCTO AND ARE DATED AND NUMBERED. I LOVE NOSTALGIC ITEMS THAT REMIND ME OF MY CHILDHOOD AND HOW OLD I AM GETTING(CHUCKLING TO MYSELF) I CHECKED EBAY TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE WORTH AND FOUND THAT EACH ONE IS WORTH ABOUT $10.00. I PAID $10.00 FOR THE CASE AND PUZZLES.
