Dear insanely popular bloggers with readers in the high thousands, please stop wearing your tight skinny jeans so that they outline your lady parts. I have seen this on 2 of you in particular several times. I snapped a photo of my computer screen and texted it to a friend asking, why do these bloggers wear their jeans up their vulva? I will save you the embarrassment and not post photos because that would be mean anyway. You know who you are, please stop, it's not pretty. Thank you. Sorry if this offends anyone.
Dear Hair, you have not been trimmed for over 6 months because I am too lazy to go plus I have been growing you for over 4 years and still have not reached your goal length. I have been using Loreal sulfate free shampoo and conditioner on you for a couple of months and you seem to like it. I trim you at the sink when I see a split end and then end up snipping for the next 15 to 20 minutes. You need a professional trim and dye job to cover your sparklers. You have received more compliments than you deserve on this blog because if the wonderful readers who comment on you ever saw what you look like not curled, they would gasp. You are thick, course and dry but somehow when I apply the curling iron, a miracle happens. Thank you for always perking up when I apply extreme heat to you. I am grateful for you and also guilty of hiding behind you and too selfish to part with you. Have a great weekend dear readers, I am working. I am also linking this to: Animated Cardigan for Style Imitating Art at Jess' blog and to Ashley's blog at Adventures of Newly Weds for Friday's Letters. dawn xo

REMIX 16...dress over jeans..
I have always been a fan of wearing a dress over jeans. I remember posting a while back that after 15 or 20 outfits of remixing only 30 pieces for 30 days gets a little tough. I am not totally happy with my choices but I am dealing with them for now. I still have a few things that I have not worn yet and I don't want to wear them. They are not inspiring me very much but I will make the best of it and jump into remix 17 hopefully today. Yesterday at work we did Karaoke for the seniors and I sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" for them....at least they applauded me. Signing off as the "Karaoke Queen". I have earned that title since I have sung in many places including England, Florida, Pennsylvania, and of course, South Jersey.

HELLOOOO and what is goin on? I have never been so busy in my entire life but I managed to squeeze in a photo shoot today. I found this lovely little spot that belonged to a random older gentleman in Voorhees, NJ. How do I know this you ask? Abby, his daughter was pulling out of the long winding driveway that belonged to her father and snagged me. I simply said hi, and introduced myself. I explained that I am a fashion blogger just taking a few shots using the green gate as my backdrop. She said it was fine as long as I did not take photos of the house or her father who had a paint brush in his hand when I introduced myself to him as well. Whew, got away with that one!!! Anyway, I would like to wish everyone a great weekend and hope that you are planning something interesting or fun to do. My dress, cardigan, and belt were thrifted with a total cost of $10.00. My sandals which you can't see are from Walmart {(don't judge me you know you shop there too} and my necklace is from Plato's closet. The bracelet was from a swap with a friend and follower of this blog. My kittens are getting better. I give all 5 of them a dose of liquid medicine with a syringe right down their throats and practically cry when they run away all pissed off at me for giving them awful tasting meds...it sucks but they have to have it. I am glad to still have them but they are leaving soon because I am going to Hawaii soon. It will be a good distraction for me although I will miss them dearly. I better go before the waterworks begin...lots of love darlings. Miss you all. Dawn xoxoxo

ROCK ON....IT'S THE WEEKEND....
Hi darlings, today is Friday and I am so glad it's the weekend...aren't you? I decided to change things up a little bit and post an outfit that shows my love for feminine touches like ruffles and bows paired with items that are a little edgier like skulls, studs and leather {my jacket is faux leather but buttery soft}. I was very comfortable in this outfit so I wore it all day while I food shopped, thrifted, and made a trip to the post office. It was cold today but sunny so I got away with wearing a skirt and light jacket. Tomorrow I will clean the house and then Rob and I have plans to go to dinner with Lisa of Rants on the Run and her husband Jeff. We are trying a new restaurant call Arugula!!! I hope you are doing something fun!! Thanks for your visit...I will stop by to see what you are up to as well. Lots of love, Dawn xo

I DID IT MY WAY.....

Sue Brett vintage dress...
Vintage thrifted bag, Kenneth Cole thrifted shoes, belt, necklaces, bracelet all thrifted...
What a great weekend, especially the ending. My husband and I went to Spa Haven and got pampered. I enjoyed a 50 minute facial and a complimentary scalp treatment and my husband got a 50 minute massage with the same scalp treatment. Have you ever had somebody massage your head for 10 minutes or more...? Unbelievable! It was free but I would pay! My skin feels so clean, exfoliated and soft....I have to treat myself more often because it is so rejuvenating. More about Spa Haven (heaven) later. I spent the rest of the day (Sunday) relaxing and getting ready for the work week. How did you spend your Sunday? Did you do anything to pamper yourself? I highly recommend it. Have a great Monday, I love your comments...Lots of love, Dawnxo
