Today is Inspiration Monday hosted by two birds.  I love their choice this week {Olivia Wilde} because I had been wanting to wear this thrifted{$5.99} maxi dress for Target.  I paired it with my Minnetonka moccasins that were a gift and a Southwestern printed shirt from Marshall's{$7.00}.





I really like the comfort of this shirt, the material is incredibly soft...

I wore this dress to work tonight but paired it with a longer shirt....it is soft cotton like summer pj's....

Ahhhh a sweet sign of Fall has made an appearance on the deck...perfect little acorns.  These moccasins, although gifted, were also from the thrift store.  A friend named Taylor who I hope is reading this, gave them to me and I love them.  Thank you Taylor!!!  I am linking up with two birds here...check out other inspirational takes on Olivia Wilde's outfit.  Lots of love, dawn xo

REMIX 14.....all mixed up...

Good Sunday Morning, I hope you are enjoying your down time so far.  Sorry for lack of posts, I have been a little under the weather.  I feel like a kid who went to daycare for the first time and developed a cold or cough. Of course, for me it's adult daycare.  I am enjoying the new job though.  I have had so many wonderful experiences and have received great feedback from my boss already...that's a welcome change.   My last job was thankless, to say the least.  Anyway, I did get dressed yesterday and took photos of outfit 14 for the remix but I was not too happy with the results or the outfit.  I am posting it, otherwise, I will never finish.  I must finish because it is keeping me motivated to get dressed in this sweltering heat....ugh!  I hope you have time to relax and enjoy your weekend.  Outfit details....boobs are too big got them c/o God along with scary white legs and humidity hair all free, you can laugh, I am.  Thakoon dress worn as a skirt Goodwill $5.99, belt Goodwill .99cents, top Marshall's less than $10.00 and Marc Fisher cork wedges Macy sale $19.99, Ray Ban Wayfarers.  I would like to welcome my new followers,  I am looking forward to getting to know you.  If I am not following you back, please leave me a message and I will visit you!!! Dawn xo

Vintage Coach bag...less than $5.00 at Goodwill...deal or what?

this shirt would not stay up on my shoulder...I can't stand bras....

I guess I could have ironed my shorts or thrown them in the dryer for a minute..ooops!

In love with these shoes...I may have badly bruised my pinky toe during the shoot when I tripped and my little toe was the only one that popped out of the shoe on the side...that hurt.

Did you ever have one of those days where you can't stand yourself? Self loathing.....aren't we all guilty of it once in a while...for real for real. Ok Dawn, stop complaining and get over yourself.

Sorry about the poor quality of my photos, the sun was barely out today and my camera would not flash.  I did the best I could with my 30 for 30 remix clothing.  My outfit doesn't even resemble Diane Krugers but with limited resources, I pulled this together.  Marc Fisher cork wedges, Macy's $19.99 big time sale with coupon and gift certificate.  They retailed for $80.00.  Thrifted gap shorts and belt $3.99 for both, TJMaxx floral shirt and hat less than $20.00 for both. Thrifted vintage, Coach bag less than $5.00.  Thank you Two Birds for helping me get dressed today...otherwise I would have stayed in my muu muu until it was time to go to work tonight.  Dawn xo
