Who doesn't like the drive-in movie theater? I spent a lot of my childhood weekends at the drive-in which attributed to my fear of sleeping alone in the dark. I am getting better with this issue. I can sleep in the dark, just need somebody there with me. It's strange I know but those scary movies really made me feel afraid of what might be lurking under my bed or in the closet. Yep, I was one of those kids who imagined that everything would come alive in my room when the lights went out. My sister Stephanie, and I shared a room thank God, she had no fear at all. I would sleep close to her and away from the edge of the bed and I would never hang a body part over the side...forget that!! Anyway, Friday night Lisa (of Fortyish and Fluffy) along with her husband Jeff, joined Rob and I at the Delsea Drive-in for a double feature. We packed a cooler, camera, camping chairs(with cup holders) and broke most of the drive-in rules posted on the signs at the entrance, with the exception of "no pets". How can they expect us not to take photos and drink? We each bought a soda at the snack stand and used our cups to discreetly drink our alcohol. They were watching people like hawks. The guy who worked there walked up to me and told me it was against the law to take flash photography. ok, ok, relax buddy, don't you facebook and blog, I thought? But when it became dark and the movie began, we sat back, grabbed another drink and how could I not feel safe in the dark with hundreds of other people there under the stars, breaking the rules at the only drive-in theatre in New Jersey...the Delsea. Have a great day and I am linking up with Two Birds today for Inspiration Monday. Gwyneth Paltrow is our inspiration today...Dawn, xo P.S. My dress is a vintage, butterfly, flowers, and mushroom printed, polyester find from Goodwill for $5.99. P.S.S. Want a good read about the same drive-in? Check out my Aunt's blog, The Fox is Dead!!!

looks like so much fun! I've given up on scary movies long ago, I just don't want to pay money to scare myself. LOve that vintage dress!
