My husband and I decided to take a drive to Belmar Beach in northern New Jersey along the coast. We arrived a little later in the day but I needed to put my toes in the sand and take in the beautiful scenery. The sun was warm and the breeze was cool as we sat right in the sand near the ocean. It's a good way to unwind and gear up at the same time for the work week ahead. Later we got a bite to eat at Rod's a nice little Irish Pub a few blocks away. We enjoyed homemade zucchini, lightly battered, fried and served with a complimentary dipping sauce....de-lish! Back to reality as we drove home....
