VINTAGE FLORAL DRESS...

Hello, I'm back after a long ordeal with the pup.  She is home now on pain meds and is going to be alright.  In this photo is Caroline her smarter sister who did not jump out the car window while my husband was driving them to the park.  I included her because she was missing her sister. My husband was at the emergency vet that we took her sister to the night before for treatment.  She was being released after a night of observation for crazy stuff like internal bleeding and changes in mental status.  I think her change in mental status happened when she went out the car window if  you ask me....straight up crazy.  We love her and missed not having her home if only for a night.

My outfit is totally thrifted, vintage dress $5.99, Franco Sarto shoes, $4.99 I think, vintage handbag(a favorite) less than $5.00, coral necklace from antique shop(less than $20.00) that Lisa of  {Fortyish and Fluffy} and I visited a while back, and vintage coral earrings .99cents from Goodwill.

I love the details of this dress with its little bow and dangling flowers on the shoulder plus its super soft lightweight material.  It is too big on me but with the belt I managed to make it look like it fits better.  I may have this altered to fit like it should.  There are so many talented bloggers out there that know how to alter clothing like Mongs from My Thrify Closet and Veronika from Tick Tock Vintage.  Check them out.  I am so glad to be back...I hope this post finds you well.  Welcome new followers...so glad to meet you!  Looking forward to getting to know!!!  Dawn xo

Your dress is absolutely lovely and your bag is so cute. I am happy to hear your pup is doing better. Your new header is great and you could design a new one every month and I would be pleased to see all your great ideas and pics.

The dress is beautiful. Very in with the "lady like" trend this fall.
Glad the pup is doing ok.
Take care!

That dress fits you beautifully and the coral necklace adds such a whimsical touch. I wouldn't have thought to put the two together but it works well!

I am thankful your dog is going to be better. Isn't it amazing how quiet the house is when they are not there?
Your dress is just beautiful. I too love the little flowers on the bow. Such a cute detail. I love dresses like yours.
